Very brave design, and pretty much like marmite. You either love it, or hate it. Personally, I think BMW got away with the front and it isn't as ugly as the new M3/M4, the lights are also very beautiful and I like the new design there. However, the back is horrendous. Not sure what BMW was thinking. This is my own opinion of course. Each to their own.

Why is the new digital rev-meter an afterthought even in Track Mode ? It is small, hard to read, and shows revs in 1000 increments, which is not precise enough for manual rev-matching. Why did BMW develop perfect analog gauges over the decades, only to throw this all into thrash now ? Way to destroy one's legacy.

Too damn heavy, it didn’t need more horsepower. It needed better driver inputs. What a disappointment.😢
