A big hole in Streaming profits will force streamer giants to go back to releasing physical media. The Hollywood strikes are going to kill off a lot of new content down the road and streamers will have to find new revenue sources.
This gives me so much hope that Disney will actually make use of their expansive catalogue. They have some gold in there, some of them already have transfers on Disney+. It's a no-brainer! I live in New Zealand, but I'll gladly pay the extra price for the Prey 4K. It's the best Predator movie since the first one. I import most of my movies from Amazon anyway, as the market here was scarce and lacklustre even before Disney bailed.
Yes, this gives me hope 😁😁. I really want Andor on 4KUHD so I’m hoping this goes well and Disney releases more titles. I’m really sorry that Disney pulled out of your market, but I’m happy that you have a good outlook regardless of the situation. 👍🏾😁
I whole-heartedly agree with you. I am a huge supporter of physical media, for the exact reasons you spoke about. If streaming content gets removed, I will always have the physical format on my shelf that I can access. I have my own personal library of movies, music, video games, comics, and books that are my treasures, and I enjoy having them. And I also agree, buying these physical releases sends a message that consumers still want to have physical media of their own. Thank you for this great video. I enjoy your videos; keep up the great content. :-)
