Same. I feel like it's shady territory and it serves to further promote that pagan gods are somehow "lesser" or "fictional". While I do love the Marvel franchise, its a really slippery slope for them and it can too easily be abused.
@@NashNoLastName reminds me when I was in school learning about mythology and my teacher telling us that “myth means it’s a fake story.” Which didn’t make any sense to me because if I said, “well doesn’t that make the Bible a bunch of myths too?” It would and has gotten me in trouble :/ just always that higher achy I guess 🤷
Throughout the decades (ages?), D*sney has used a lot of traditional themes in their copyrighted works. Think Snow White & the 7 Dwarves, Cinderella, etc. It is no surprise that they now use mythologies from other parts of the world for that, too. Great hair, btw. :)
Not super on topic to the video, but I started working with Loki recently and he helped me out with a huge problem and I’d really like to give him something as like a big gesture of my gratitude. What would you recommend or how should I go about figuring out how to pick something for him
Loki is my patron God and I make offerings to him regularly. He tends to like sweets as well as alcohol in my experience but go with what feels right. He will let you know what he appreciates and dislikes.
@@dremlokisdotter4205 I like to DO things for Loki. I made a cute little thing for his alter 🥰 and he seems to be happy when I actually pay attention to myself.
