Every single double wide stroller on Amazon is allowed. They make these strollers 31" because a doorway is 32; the stroller will be able to fit through a standard door. Disney specifically banned wagons, specifically the push ones because people even without kids can and were bringing in multiple coolers, food and drinks that would last them the whole day. Disney saw the writing on the wall. The Keenz push wagon is a legal stroller and allowed on any airline, but Disney banned it. They were getting quite popular at Disney parks and companies stared making 100 dollar copies of the Keenz stroller and people were bringing those to Disneyland. But Disney could not just ban one type of stroller (wagon) because it would seem they were being bias. Their research showed that only an extremely small percentage of strollers coming in were over 31". These are the weird quad and trike strollers you hardly ever see. So They came up with these measurements, which allows any double wide and any double train style stroller in. I was specifically told this by Disney security and he was against the wagon ban by the way. He said he was complaining everyday on line to Disney before the ban, because he had an expensive Keenz stroller himself. It is socially acceptable and even cool for a group of many people to bring in a fancy Keenz wagon full of goodies, even if there is no kid in there. The wagon is used by people that go to the beach and haul all their stuff too. Plus, it is very stylish and posh looking. So in short, Disney doesn't want people bringing in a wagon full of food and drinks from their homes.

Stopped going after the last time, so many strollers and not just for the kids so many scooters for the obese it was ridiculously inconvenient for us to even walk. Made the whole park feel like an obstacle course…. People need to walk

Some dad tried to bring this SUV sized stroller onto the monorail, taking away seats. And he told me I may not be able to ride. He didn't even sit in the same spot the stroller was, expecting others to wait for the next monorail so he can take his giant stroller into Disneyland. Thing was massive, I'm glad Disneyland is enforcing stroller size because some people wanna hog so much space at Disneyland, especially during fireworks / parades.

And this is coming from a long-term pass holder and long-time smoker. Stroller parents are the least attentive, most entitled, and most careless people in the park, period. The many, many bruises on the backs of my ankles and calves can attest to that. FAR too many parents turn off their brains when they enter that park, and it has MORE than gotten out of hand. The smoking ban? Inconvenient as hell, but I'll get over it. I've personally seen too many baby boomers just leave their trash on the ground, on benches, throwing their cigarette butts anywhere, etc. My parents' generation is really going out of its way to ruin things for my generation, but that's a different topic altogether.

Nah, strollers have gotten out of hand. They're ridiculously large (I've had strollers for 20 yrs) I've seen them evolved. They're dangerous when people park them everywhere and bring them on the tram. They have to accommodate huge stroller sections especially during the parade. Try an umbrella stroller. They have really improved.

When my kids were very little I had a standard size stroller BUT I left that one home when I went to Disney. It was easy enough and more convenient to buy a cheap $15 umbrella stroller for walking around the parks. It folded up in 2 seconds so you're not inconveniencing everyone on the bus, waiting for you to fold up some giant contraption. Also having to maneuver around giant strollers on the bus was just ridiculous and pretty rude IMO. Also about the smoking, I was starting to see people really not follow the rules regarding smoking areas. I even saw a young girl with bare feet step on a lit cigarette someone had tossed. Maybe this ever expanding disregard for the rules contributed to Disney taking this major step in changing the smoking rules. As a former smoker, I'm glad. I understand all the complaints, I've been there, but being on the other side now, I realize that all the complaints are really selfish and driven by the addiction. I wish everyone could just quit. It's so freeing.

In the 80s and 90s, I saw almost zero strollers at Disney. Now, I see tens of thousands. Do kids no longer walk? We all walked Disney at that age in the 80s and had zero problems.

People are lazy and feel entitled. “It’s not fair!” “There’s no way we can do Disney without our stroller!” Cry me a river. Be adults. Be parents. When I was raising my boys I never once took a stroller to the park. They either walked or I carried them in my arms. You need a giant stroller to keep your kid from becoming over stimulated? What a joke! I have experience here. When my son became extremely over stimulated I handled it. I didn’t confine him. It wasn’t always easy, but it was part of being a parent. This is just lazy parents looking for the easy way out. If I had my way, private strollers would be entirely banned. If lazy people absolutely must have a stroller then rent a reasonably sized Disney stroller. It may be over priced, but you just paid $25 just to park your car so….. Strollers seem to be used more for carrying crap than rolling kids around. When my youngest was still in diapers I hung a bag over my shoulder. Strollers are used as battering rams and to plow the road. I couldn’t say how many times I’ve been rammed in the leg by a careless stroller jockey. If I’m lucky enough to see one zeroing in on me I put my foot out against the front wheel just before it hits me causing it to brake to a stop. They look at me and smile because they know they weren’t paying attention. How often do you see an empty stroller, (no kid just lots of stuff piled in it), parked and blocking crowd flow in order to save space for a parade or show? Just one of those giant monstrosities piloted by selfish obnoxious half-wits stopped in the middle of a pathway totally negates the benefits of Project Stardust. We have a lazy culture. You don’t see hoards of strollers swarming all over Disney parks in other countries. Great new policy and good riddance! Get a grip and suck it up! Of course there are exceptions made for handicapped or medical reasons and that is acceptable. Next, smokers will complain that after leaving the park and going outside security to smoke, by the time they get back to their party they need another cigarette. “It’s not fair!” “I can’t do Disney without smoking!” Sure, Walt Disney smoked and there used to be a tobacco shop on Main Street both of which are irrelevant today. Walt died of cancer and so did the tobacco shop. Again, great policy and good riddance!

Disability strollers will still be allowed, as the guest can visit guest relations and get a special red or blue tag which goes on stroller to designate to cast members it is allowed.

The dry ice ban is ridiculously stupid what if you have a special needs person who needs to keep medicine cold. That’s not fair at all and special needs prams for adults who can’t sit in a normal wheelchair or use a mobile one so the need to use there personal adult stroller. No one should be left out and baby strollers are not going to fit an adult who is over 5feet tall

I'll say it again, what also needs to go if Disney gonna ban large strollers is large people. Fat obese people are slow, large as hell and block traffic left, right and center. Also really old people, slow as hell especially with their walking apparatuses. Those electric scooter wheelchair things too, half the people that use them don't even need them or are overweight and therefore should not be allowed in. Or another solution, pay extra to bring in your large stroller and pay extra if your ass is too fat and takes up double the space. I'm OK with the large stroller ban, just do the same for fat and really old people too.
@Rick-lf2ol
@Rick-lf2ol 5 лет назад
Remember when It's a Small World had to be redone in order to accommodate fat people? The boats kept bottoming out and getting stuck. Perhaps oversized people should pay double the normal admission fee like when they have to purchase two seats on an airplane.
