disproving the magnet car hoax 

Apparently, things have gotten so bad with people's trust and understanding of science and basic physics, that even Newton's laws are suspect. If you haven't already seen the viral/meme videos showing a toy car being pulled along by magnets mounted to itself, then this video will seem pointless. If you've seen them, and think there must be something to it, if multiple people show it "working" then this probably won't change your mind.
The fact that so many people are falling for this hoax, and arguing against, and disregarding proofs such as this video, is evidence of how effective mass misinformation campaigns can be. If people hear a lie often enough, they start to believe it.
