I reccomend using map gas and scraping your gold precipitate off of the filter paper. The little bit left on the filter paper is minuscule. The gold looks junky when you melt it with paper. Should've been a shiny red/gold button. I appreciate your videos. I got into this with your first video years ago and now I'm great at it. Rock on!

Hi . Great video. But please help. Some people say the precipitant is Sodium MetabisulFATE. You say sulFITE. Which is it? Also why is distilled water used. Lastly I used hydrochloric pool acid and my electronic scrap is not fizzing like yours. Is it a special hydrochloric acid that has to be used? Thanks

Only a propane torch is needed?

Can the AG be reclaimed? I've seen people add the Sodium Sulf straight to the AG solution, pour it off and then wash the sediment with distilled water to clean the acid off.

Im trying to melt some escrap & i have everything together on how to process the gold, when you started melting it you didnt use flux, every video i seen flux was used so im just wondering why you didn't have to because i think you would ruined some of the gold without flux?

You did NOT neutralize the acid with the urea. You denoxed, but your solution was most certainly still acidic. Otherwise, the smb wouldn't have had any effect.

So the parts are the bud, the gold is the thc, and the AG is the solvent. Lol, same trick different trade

If you put a piece of insulation under the melt dish it will hold enough heat to allow the gold to become molten.
