Monroe County District Attorney Sandra Doorley returned home on April 22 following the attempted traffic stop in Webster, N.Y., and then repeatedly refused to comply with the officer’s commands when he arrived at her house, bodycam footage of the exchange showed."

I am a 64 year old Caucasian female. I've worked for an attorney for 10 years and as an executive assistant to a senior warden. This wench is totally acting entitled. She, out of anyone, knows the laws. I feel so sorry for that poor LEO. He was being so PATIENT and POLITE. Bless his heart. And you know any one of us, you and me, would be arrested with LEOs guns drawn. DA needs to do some time.

A forced apology is no apology at all. She could have apologized several times during interaction with officer but chose not to. And then doubled down pulling out her badge and calling the police chief. She still not sorry before, during or after incident. She just sorry the exchange is captured on body cam. C’mom ya’ll, let’s keep it real. If it weren’t for that video, this entitled Karen would still be making calls behind closed doors to have that officer fired.

My opinion is Sandra Dooley should be responsible for getting the cop a glass of water from now on. She has proven herself to be on the same level as a common criminal. So let her be subject to the same expectations as your average watergirl. Step down, Sandra. You have no future in the legal profession, except as maybe an assistant who needs to be closely watched and not given too much power.

Depends on the area. Some areas are marked at low speeds that are unreasonable for that particular area and police generally don’t enforce it.

Like Wosney said, All this lady had to do was pull over and the cop probably would have let her go without a ticket since she is a district attorney. Even if she got a ticket and went to court, the prosecutor probably would have dismissed the ticket entirely or in worst case scenario offered a plea to a parking to ticket. This woman does not have the judgment or character necessary for the office of district attorney. She should resign.

However, the cop needs to answer as to why she was not held to the same standard as the people she represents, Doorley has to go., she was not tested for drinking and dtiving. Monroe County Govener please check the petition we all sighed to have Doorley removed, she told us in our news that she will NOT step down, no way we the citizens in our county will not allow thism you can be sure . Let's see if the governor is with us or with this Doorley, hell will rising in my county I can assure you. @@Kavafy No it's not. Statistical evidence suggest that statutory speed limits make no real difference. People tend to drive at the speed they feel comfortable with their level of experience and type of vehicle. The MV code exists primarily to assign liability in an accident, not to prevent them. Speed limits are almost entirely there to provide revenue AND give a pretext to stop cars and "go fishing" for some sort of crime. TL;DR - it's all bullshit.

A reprimand? She showed that she cannot be trusted to administer the laws fairly and evenly. If she were not a privileged White woman, she might be dead or injured. She would certainly have been immediately arrested. How can the DA's office maintain any credibility as long as she is the DA? If she has any honor, she will resign. If she fails to do so, she should be investigated and removed. Her law license should also be revoked. But . . . we all know that she will face no real consequences.

Speed Limits might be wrong, but if the Rules are clear and the Signs are clear, they are to be followed. A Car is a Machine that can kill, even though the Driver does not intend to. As said the Limits might look wrong, but maybe they are not, who knows. The Chaos that ensues if everybody decides by him/herselves is more dangerous than the Time lost on low Speed.

This DA got away with a whole lot. Extremely entitled, thinking she's above the law, and that seems to be the problem with a lot of these people in law enforcement and politics. Also, I have to call out Wos on the speed traps. Unless you're having some sort of emergency, do the damn speed limit. People rush around in traffic constantly for no reason at all. Yeah, I understand maybe about 5 miles over the limit, but anything more is unnecessary.
