I normally don’t like a high necked dress, but that one was so perfect on her! Absolutely stunning!!

For anyone who doesn’t know, Benelux is made up of three countries: Belgium, Netherlands and Luxembourg

It took me a little to realise that the reason the voicing sounds off is because this is dubbed.

I really like seeing brides from other countries. I would love to see how some other cultures go about chosing their wedding dresses, even if it isn't in a bridal boutique with typical wedding dresses like this. I'd especially love to see how Indian weddings are done, they are so beautifully extravagant and so very different than what I know. The only thing is the dubbing was driving me crazy, you should just put a disclaimer that a translated voice over has replaced the original audio for this episode instead of having all that overlap. Its very unpleasant, reminds me of when something is playing on a background screen while you're trying to watch something else.

Who else agrees that all these dresses keep making a statement and she looks beautiful in all the dresses and she has such a supportive crew.

I actually thought the second high neck dress WAS a sexy dress. At least the top, if the bottom was a LITTLE more fitted or flowy, I'd love it a lot more. But it was ABSOLUTELY gorgeous on her regardless. Love her pick

She could wear anything and look gorgeous! I loved the one she picked and I loved all the others she tried on as well. You know, she said my Mom's old-fashioned and wants her covered up. I don't think it's a question of being old-fashioned. I think it's being mindful of the ceremony, elegance and class. You don't want the girls on display at a religious ceremony. Having said that, and as Randy said, there is a dress for EVERY Bride and every venue.

Great episode. But please either subtitle or remove original audio and dub in English. Don't have English play over top of the original voices. Make it distracting to watch

It seems like this is the first Benelux video on the channel so some background info. Premiering in 2016 it features brides from The Netherlands and the northern Dutch speaking half of Belgium. The first two seasons featured Randy coming over to host. From season 3 onwards the show is hosted by stylist and tv presenter Fred van Leer (Holland's Next Top Model and Drag Race Holland). Dutch culture is characterised by it's brutal honesty which can be perceived as downright rude by foreigners. Don't expect anyone to hold back when they don't like the dress. This is generally not an attempt to control the bride as much as it's just someone coming right out with their honest opinion and direct feedback which is not meant to be or perceived to be as anything personal.

I think dubbing is the better choice here. Subtitles wouldn't work because we need to be able to see the dresses. Subtitles block part of the screen and distract your attention from looking at the dresses.

It doesn't matter where in the world this programme comes from, the consultant always goes over the budget. I guess that's what happens when the consultant is working on commission.
