What makes a real "Diver's Watch"? In this video we look at "Dive Style" and actual "Diver's" watches.
The featured watches are a Tudor Black Bay 38 on dish washing duties, an Addiesdive H3 Series and Tevise Quartz Submariner homages and the only real Diver's watch in my collection a Seiko SNE107P2.

International safety standards also require it to be certified as a diver if it reads “diver’s on the dial.

Yes Logan. So many manufacturers use the apostrophe incorrectly. The ISO should have a SWAT team on standby.

You said that the Addiesdive could not be dive rated because it is quartz but then show a dive rated Seiko that looks to be quartz,

I'm so sorry, I was not clear enough. The quartz movement is not the problem. Quartz can be rated but it needs to have a low power indicator. This is present on the Seiko but not on the Addiesdive. Commonly like on the Seiko this consists of pause in the ticking of the second hand. Commonly two second ticks rather than continuous one second ones.
