I admire your black privacy fence at 5 minutes. Any idea where it came from…looking for something just like that! Thanks…..great videos..learn a lot from you.
Barb Reg my husband built that through the last 25 years . He just added a bit up the hill from the main garden . We have always done all our own structures and pathways . Little by little treated lumber wtih a black stain. Come to Weston and visit us.
@@maryleepowers528 Mary Lee ostrich ferns do best in a shady area mine have survived dry shade and on the river bank moist. Extreme heat and sun as I found out this summer . I’m in West Virginia and we’ve never ever had 90 degrees May through August . Plus drought conditions . We always had rain at least once weekly. I finally after waiting for rain early summer began watering once weekly . They tolerated my neglect. Love these ferns in spring I don’t do anything I let the leaf mulch decay and feed them. They spread through top surface roots yet I’ve not found them invasive. Enjoy the plant they are so romantic! Thanks for watching. Where do you garden?
