Couple of Notes:
About the Aluminum Foil: The size of the Aluminum Foil piece that I used is 18" wide (the width of the roll) and about 14" to 16" long (before folding it).
About the metal can: very standard or common size food can (29 to 30 oz.)
About the 304 Stainless Steel Mesh: The mesh has several different advertised uses (one being that it's specifically designed to be used for cooking over a fire (or as a grill grate placed over a fire). its size is roughly 8" by 8". note that it's often sold as a 12" by 24" piece (but cuts down easily using tin snips).
