I make this exact oil using jojoba oil as my carrier oil. The essential oil that I add is rosemary. I use it as the 1st step on wash day as "oiling". I've noticed all of the benefits that you mentioned in the beginning. I do not use a crock pot, I did the double boiler method. My next batch I'm going to use a mini crock pot like you did. Love the oil, thanks for sharing!

I just started using this oil. I infused some with castor oil as my carrier oil December. So now it’s nice, dark and beautiful. To my individual dropper I added 2 drops of Curly Proverbz Coffee, Orange and Green Tea Essential oil and Wooooow! I’ve been needing to oil my scalp ever 2 to 3 days because I had thick roots but they are getting thicker since using this oil! My locs are tailbone length and 90% of the time I keep them covered because it’s freezing where I live. Love you Henna Sooq!

Don’t get your stuff for this from Walmart 😂 There are wayyyy better place to get great quality ingredients. Walmart thinks they are Amazon & the shipping from who knows where from who. Find quality from quality carriers who specialize in them.

It shouldn't! You can either do it as a pre-poo treatment where you cover the hair and scalp with the oil and then cleanse out, or you can add just a little bit to your ends to keep your hair hydrated. If you want to avoid fading as much as possible, just don't do pre-poo oil treatments too often.

How to properly clean the stocking for other infusions?

I usually just wash the stocking like I'd wash my clothes. But I do it by hand. Lots of warm to hot water and soap. Then hang dry. Once it's dry some of the dust is sometimes still there so I shake it out, outside.

I don't know about other brands but for all oils you can leave them in typically unless it's too heavy for your hair. You have to decide which ways of oil use your hair likes best through some trial and error.

It depends on your scalp tbh. For me, bhringraj is the most effective, especially if used consistently for a month straight, I see lots of hair growth. However, alma and Fenugreek make my scalp itch. So just try them for yourself :)

No hair oil is better than Bhringraj for growth and healthy hair. Mix add drops of Rosemary essential oil and you got the best hair remedy.

Hello. Usually 6-8 hours on low and then room temperature if they can for a few days, sometimes weeks if you want it very strong.

Do you sell these oils combined & ready for use? I watched another video where you said yall would be opening a salon. Where? I'm looking for something to help with hair growth. I went to a salon to have my hair lightened. They burned my hair to the point that my hair was just an inch above my waist & now it's shoulder length. I'm still crying & that was months ago. I've ALWAYS cut & colored my own hair.I decided to go to a salon because I loved the length & I thought going to a "professional would ensure my hair wouldn't get ruined. I asked around & this "colorist" came with high praises. Since then I've been trimming the ends & I haven't dyed it at all. I have a birthday coming (56). I'm thinking about allowing my natural color (gray & dark blonde) to grow in. My husband prefers the blonde (lol) & my biggest want is long hair again. When growing my hair last time I took a supplement that made it grow pretty quickly BUT that's become too expensive. I'd appreciate any help you could provide. Thank you so much!!💞

You can leave it in. If it is a hot oil treatment then I assume you will be washing that out. If it is to oil your hair and/or scalp, that you leave in. You can combine with Alma and or Aloe Vera. You actually can mix and match with other Ayurvedic powders if you choose to experiment to see which combination you like best or what works best for your hair. How often you use the oil in your hair depends on your hair. Some people oil their scalp daily, others 2 to 3 times per week. It depends on what works for you. Your scalp and hair will let you know I guess🤷🏿‍♀️

@HennaSooq I have dreadlocks, and I also dermastamp my thinning areas. Using powder is somewhat cumbersome and leaves plant material and sediment when infusing it with oil. That sediment/plant material might cause irritation or infection when used with a dermastamp. Using whole herbs would be much easier and cleaner for me. My wife has experienced some of the same issues when using your powders.

Do a Patch test in a hidden area. Get a brush like a dye brush & part your hair with the dye brush stick & brush it only on the hair on both sides parted like painting. Do a space you can see but that your hair will cover not parted. Let it sit for an hour & wash it out. Take before & after pics.

I wouldn’t. I did that before and my hair was stiff as a board. It dried out my hair severely. I love all of her powders, but I use them as glosses and my hair is thriving.

I add the leftover powders to my conditioners and use it as a gloss! It’s amazing and Henna Sooq’s powders are finely sifted so you definitely can add them to a conditioner. ❤
