My first crack at a home made drill press. I had an actual drill press but I lent it away so I figured I'd build my own in the mean time as a fun project. I had a corded drill that had two threaded holes to attached an extra handle so I used those to attach the drill to the particle board drill press. It works just OK, it isn't very ridgid and vibrates a lot and the corded drill itself is very loud. If I were to do it again, I would want to redesign the slide so it is more rigid, figure out a better way to mount the corded drill and allow it to fold downward to convert into a lathe. Maybe next time :)
