That was a GREAT video!!! I have been dipping my jigs in the paint cup and like you said, the paint is sometimes uneven. Could you please make me a material list of the sizes of pipes and other materials I need. Thanks Mike Walters, Atmore, Alabama P.S keep the videos coming.

Ive got one that just doesnt work out of 6. This are a bit spendy but i like them....what do you think is causing one bed not to make the paint fluid....
Thanks for the information. I made two fluid beds and they work good. I am wondering if you were going to make them using 1 1/2 inch pvc how long would you cut the top piece of pvc?
Sorry for my ignorance...but what is "copy paper"? Is there special paper that goes in the nearly extinct "copy machines"...or are you just talking about regular old printer paper? Thanks in advance to anyone who can explain.
I made an exact fluid bed like this a year ago. Now instead of a nice watery fluid, it acts more like a volcano where the air just comes up the sides and it's a mess. Anyone has any idea how to fix it or what went wrong?
Danny Tseng I make these also and after some use you need to switch the paper gasket or possibly the union has loosened up. Another filter I have used is a coffee filter.
Just do it the old fashion way and fluff the paint up often to keep it loose and fluffy and twist the heated jig head in into the paint and wiggle back and forth quickly The clumpy, uneven or dripping mentioned is often just paint that is matted down to hard and lays down uneven when the jigs are dipped or dipped with inconsistent heat. The bigger the jig heads the more often you need to fluff the paint . I like Pro tech paint as a 2 oz bottle does 350 3/8th ounce size jigs done correctly . The bed method does keep the paint extra fluffy and its very handy but its not a all or nothing situation. It also important to note if your making jigs for yourself to fish or in production. I know guys that make up hundreds of jigs and they use about 1/0th of them going overkill on production for the amount of time they fish. I'm taking Dudes with literally boxes of them that there grand kids kids will probably never go through in their lifetime. Same dudes that have these jig bro downs of who can make the best.
