DIY: HOW TO LIGHTEN HAIR NATURALLY WITH NO BLEACH!

Hello babes,
This weeks video is something I tried after checking out a couple of blogs online about how to lighten and brighten my hair in a natural way that didn't require further bleaching.
I had just been to the hairdresser and instead of the bright icy lights I asked for (see my " Come with Me to the Salon - Hair Disaster vlog - • IT ALL WENT WRONG! COM... )
I basically ended up a dirty blonde with light ends - 100% not what I wanted or asked for!
So next time you want to brighten your hair - try this solution, it really helped me, its all natural and my hairs conditions wasn't damaged so happy days!

Hey I do this treatment too. I would suggest leaving it on for 2-3 hours and to try to sit in the sun. After I wash it out I brew very strong chamomile tea and dump it on my head for a hair rinse chamomile also helps brighten your hair.

Girl I have this problem EVERY TIME TOO! Naturally my roots are about at a level 7/8 now... my ends are platinum. When I get my regrowth high lighted twice a year they never lift the regrowth enough and OVER TONE the ends... I have resorted to Sun Bum lightening spray!! Maybe 2 or 3 times a month I sprits just my growth and either blow dry it or lay out on the California sun and I don’t think I will be needing to pay $300 a pop to have hair that I am unhappy with and have to “fix” again!!

corrine hicks I did, I sat in the sun that day for an hour but then it went away so I used a hair dryer while my hair was in a shower cap to help it lighten up with the solution.

You can sit in the sun or put a bag for heat.

Wow yeah they didn't let the bleach stay on long enough...you have to break through the red then the orange before you get to blonde.they didn't give you many highlights and left a hard line of demarkation where the dark hair meets the blonde.it did work! Great job! Tell them to give you some money pieces in the front and a toner that's not too ashy I would use a wella 10 N and you be ready for the runway!😍💖

Hannah Rabie you definitely don’t have to sit with the sun! I would apply for a little heat with a hairdryer to help lift it with the solution in it.

I had lowlights added that made my bright blondes go away. I lost my brightness. Will lemon work on the dark or lowlights to virgin or colored over highlights 🤔 Anyone know ...thanks for sharing

Also...to up keep your blonde tone for cheap...walmart sells a purple shampoo jhermak or silver lights brand that will cancel out color that looks too orange,gets rid of brassy blonde.i would put it on the top of your head and use in dry hair before you get in the shower for better results. Careful not to do more than once a week or let sit on your ends for too long or it will get too "muddy" and look too grey or purple.😊

@@LauraDrury my hair isn’t colored, but it’s naturally like a dark to medium brown! i want some nice blonde but i’m afraid that it will be orange and brassy! if that makes sense!

No definitely not for you. This is to lift hair that’s already been lightened using colour but has discoloured or gone brassy.

Addison Armstrong oh gosh! My hair isn’t virgin hair so I have no idea! If you have light virgin hair and sat in the sun, I see no reason why it wouldn’t work 🤷🏼‍♀️

No harm trying it as it’s very gentle….I don’t think it will make it blonde but it should strip out more of the orange

Pure lemon Juice can DRY the hair out using it like that!! You are supposed to use it in MODERATION!!!

thank you! My hair is dark and I want to make it blonde. I am in Mauritius and in Mauritius everyone has dark hair. But I want to look like an American. So I'm gonna try it out. And at school and at Church I'm gonna pretend to be an American. I will speak American English with them

Only hair dye will lighten your hair…..this will make no difference for you!
