For those of you asking to how her hair looks now. Go check out ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-JeuqW771axk.html You can see how beautiful her hair looks. Like if she had a balayage done at a salon. 🤎 Also, someone suggested using BLUE shampoo rather than purple and yes 🙌 it’s way better for canceling out orange/red tones
Scratch Rabbit hey! I have curly hair and there’s a video on my channel on my curly hair routine, check it out! ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-3_ZqLfpQDiE.html
You can make Sun-In with lemon juice and peroxide. Turn to paste with baking soda and then rub it on in a balayage pattern. Rinse after a few hrs because the ingredients will dry and damage hair but not even close to the damage bleach can do.
@@joseph71345 You can continue to lighten it but it would be best to use a toner on top of it to cancel out the orange in the hair. Purple shampoos work great but if it’s super orange or has yellow in it you can mix blue hair dye and a little bit of purple/violet hair dye and go over top of it and that will cancel out the orange/yellow in the hair.
I can’t believe that stuff is still around! I’m having flashbacks to 1985 and every girl in school had orange hair Bahahahahaha! Glad it works on her hair! We all looked like idiots! This looks good. I’m shocked.
1977, I came back after Summer break, for my Sophomore year in High School. I used Sun In on my dark brown hair, and it never went medium or light brown. My hair wasn't auburn or a carrot top redhead, it ended up so brassy. Heaven help you if you used lemon or grapefruit juice on your dark brown hair, and went into the sun. (NOT RECOMMENDED) There was no such thing as purple shampoo back then. I thought it looked pretty, that is until the new growth(roots) became obvious. UH-OH....live and learn. If you have hair that is darker than medium to light brown, I strongly urge you to please reconsider. Do not use this product if you have dark brown or black hair. To do so will result in brassy(a combination of gold and orange color) looking hair. If you have naturally mousey-brown, dishwater blonde, sandy blonde, or lighter....have fun. See if blondes truly have more fun. Personally, I have been blonde, redhead, and brunette. Equally fun, no matter what my hair color was. Have fun.
I use that too! Definitely works!! But i preffer putting it on in the summer whenever i go out all day.The sun has naturally made my hair so light!!! Love it!!!
Hello loves, If you have questions about if you can or can’t use the product PLEASE consult it with a professional. I am not a Hairdresser. I cannot answer you those types of questions, this video is just how my sister and I used it and our results. Thank you ❤️
That product does work she's not lying I remember having that product before I had the red one and it works really good it makes your hair lighter without damaging it whatsoever.
That product works rlly well bc my friend had s reddish brownish color and after using the product it’s now a bit of a redder shade than Marcia Cross’ hair but her hair got rlly damaged and I’ve wanted to make my natural ombre a bit more visible so I just put salt water in my hair then went into the sun and now my tips r lighter and have small highlights and the reason it works is because the sun obviously, but sea salt breaks down pigment which makes her hair lighten. It just dries ur hair so make sure u properly wash and moisturize your hair.
toytracker and don’t just spray your whole head everywhere or a whole bunch in one spot. Make sure it’s even and lightly sprayed. You can always spray more later, you can’t take it away.
This product does not contain Bleach, everybody in the comments says it does. It does not contain bleach, the thing in this product that lightens the hair is the hydrogen peroxide . Also very drying for the hair
Just put chamomile your hair. Lightens up gradually in a week. Boil some bags leave it on over night. You can spray it on or soak in it. No extra chemicals
It has small traces of hydrogen peroxide. I don’t think it would be enough to lighten dark hair like hers? Idk? Please respond...I want to know because I also have dark hair...it isn’t as dark as her little sister but it is a very very dark brown
@@abigailkim8231 lol well I’ll answer you even tho it’s been 2 years since your question. But yeah chamomile with Luke warm water (do it like if you’re making tea but put it on your hair) it worked really well on mine and mine is naturally black. I had dyed my hair red but it was basically gone already, but when I put the chamomile I got a kind of reddish orange hair (which is how I wanted). But on virgin hair I’m sure it will work even better
I recommend using 1/2 cup of baking soda with 2-5 tablespoons of water to get this white paste. It works but u have to re bleach it atleast 3 times to get a rly bright blonde
Someone please remind me that I should never dye my hair brown again because I will miss my naturally blonde hair and try and watch these videos to make it lighter
Head and shoulders strips dark hair dye out! I used to dye my hair box black and I had to reverse 2 years of constant black dye for my moms wedding. Took like 4 months to make it brown again
I dyed the tips of my hair purple in February 2020 and since red sticks to blonde you can still see it in late October. I'm gonna dye my hair green for Halloween in a few days so that's why I'm watching this but I don't have it, plus quarentine so that's fun
That stuff actually did work for me back in the day but being in the sun really does help activate it more overall. I wonder what's in it ingredient wise now that I'm older 🤔
When I was 14 I used to put Pearl peroxide on it, it was like 3% I think and I would just dump it on and go out in the sun and did it ever lighten my hair to a nice color, of course I had light brown hair in the first place.
Sun In?? The top ingredient is Hydrogen Peroxide. It's just at a lower level than most bleaches, so it takes longer to work - and is helped by spraying it on your hair, then sitting in sunlight. But it still damages hair unless you keep it well conditioned etc. X
I want to dye my dark brown hair but my dad probably won’t let me buy anything to do it so I’m just trying to find the cheapest way to dye it which is going to be difficult seeing as how I want like a neon green
I know this is a crazy question but do you know how to turn black hair into blonde hair without dying it or doing anything like making the original hair blonde blonde blonde the original hair blonde
Was her hair natrul at the start?or did she dye it with the blond/orange streaks ? Because im planing to dye myhairbthat color byt cant find any youtuber that doew it that color:(
I never thought of Sun In as a possibility for lightening hair. And that's odd because that's what the product was basically made for. Something I want to know is: what happens if you lighten your hair with this, then put a demi, or semi permanent dye on top?
because i have brown hair like medium brown but i didn't ever bleach it and the dye was reddish-purple so it still showed up but i wanna do it again but have it show up a bit more w/o bleach though.
Not purple, you Would need a blue toner. Just using the shampoos isn't going to do much at all for the red/orange tone to the hair, you want to tone the hair first, and then use a blue shampoo once a week to keep the hair from becoming brassy again.
How long does it take to lighten it on the sun? And do you consistently have to put it on? And does it really damage your hair and has bleach in it does it make a different if u use the red or yellow one? Will it work for really really dark curly hair with highlights in it. I really hope it works please answerx
SUN - IN by Toni® has been around since 1966 and is just a solution of Hydrogen Peroxide (Bleaching Agent) and conditioners. The ORIGINAL formula was actually the No - Mix Liquid Neutralizer from a Toni® Home Perm it even smelled the same.
