DIY Invitations 

Hi Everyone!
Let’s DIY ourselves some elegant party invitations today! It’s the time of year for gathering and cheer but having anything printed is super duper expensive. Instead, I’m sharing my tips and hacks for making professional looking invitations with you at home for cheap.
I hope you watch the video and enjoy it, but if you need a cheat sheet here are my tips:
1. Know what type of printer you have and make sure you buy paper you can print on (I’ve made this mistake).
2. Buy two (or more) different sizes of cardstock. I chose two in the size 5x7 and a smaller 4x6. You only need to be able to print on the smallest one.
3. Spend time designing the invitation. Details make it look professional. You’ll want:
• Varied fonts (serif and sans serif)
• Varied font sizes
• RSVP and contact information
• Details that tie in the theme of the party as well as the border of the invitation
4. Double sided tape
5. Envelopes that correlate to at least one of your cardstocks so it looks like a set (the envelopes should fit the outer most cardstock snuggly.
