Thank you!!! I’ve been working on tons of projects just recording and throwing onto HD. Just no time to put polished videos together… not that my videos have ever been particularly polished 🤣.

I have a beast module sitting in my living room. looking to make 96ah bank for my sub. Also doing an alt still in between 240a and 320a cant decide if i need the larger one or not. also are you making a machine to make voice coils? subbed

Yes I am making a machine to wind voice coils. I have sadly been distracted by other projects and financial limitations on said production. It is in progress slowly. As far as alternators, what kind of wattage are you looking to run? You need to consider output in relation to power production or else you will just slowly deplete your reserves

Do you have to hook them all in parallel and charge /balance them before you put them on the busbars or are they good to go ?

i recommend hooking the all up in parallel and balance charging them. then let them sit for a while to make sure they are all holding their charge… once all cells are confirmed to be good, then assemble

I have a 2010 chevy tahoe ltz with one stock atl and a mechman 400alt and 2 taramps 8k bass amps what kind of power will this bank support for all this

I kinda always ballpark but you can multiply Ah x nominal voltage x discharge rate if you like 🤣… 48Ah I would be estimating around an 8-10k system. Your alt setup can maintain around 7k so running at 10k you have a net deficit of 3k watts. The idea is to pull from the battery in high demand scenarios then charge during low demand. Running 2 8ks I would go bigger than 48 Ah probably… 64Ah… that being said, no matter what, your maximum sustained wattage is limited by your alt set up.

what size is that square bar 3 inch by 3 inch?

For the 48 Ah? I don’t have the dimensions on me. But… Every hole is 43mm apart with 15-18mm offset to the adjacent edges. So… the larger plates would be… (43x3)+(18x2) 165mm by (43x2)+(18x2) 122mm hope that helps
