Do you need a humidifier or ultrasonic mister / fogger for mushroom growing? Perhaps you just want one for your greenhouse? This is an easy method on how to build one!
Building this homemade mini humidifier is simple, and you only a few cheap parts available off the internet. You simple need to follow the instructions in the video and you will have a humidifier which you can use to grow mushrooms with in no time!
People often build humidifiers which are too large for the fruiting room. This smaller one can be plumbed into a small scale fruiting chamber, or even placed right inside the chamber itself!
You can set up a small indoor mushroom farm with this, or use it for any other purposes.
The items you need are listen below!

I picked this up for work. My last one was smaller ru-vid.comUgkxtD9aJ2m6GU-X1IChQxjn9l31K1A7Kpwj and cuter but the motor burned out within a few months. This one's footprint is a tad bigger but it still doesn't eat up a lot of desk space. Its size and shape blends into the background nicely. This has a good size water container so I don't need to refill more than once a week. I use filtered (not distilled) water because cleaning up after our hard water is tough at work. I like that this has several settings. It's also very quiet. (I have a silence naxi in the next cubicle.) It also hasn't left that terrible while powder, so far, that some humidifiers leave. Been using this for a month or so now and am very happy with my purchase.

Top-secret pro tip: if you build a little float for the ultrasonic disc to sit in, you can ensure that the disc is always at the proper depth for maximum mist and you can use a deeper container.

great mini unit Tom . Can I recommend one addition to your great design ? add a short vertical hose , then add a t fitting. at the 12 o'clock pipe end put a cap over it . The 12 o'clock opening is now your water fill hole , so no need to remove the lid :) the second - 3 o'clock part of the " T" , goes to the fruit chamber. worth a consider. Please keep creating and teaching new growers how to get it done . thanks

I'm trying to picture what you are saying here. You are saying to put a T on top of the bulkhead, correct? This would make 2 openings: 9 oclock and 3. You are saying one side will have an end cap for removal to add water. You would be pouring it in sideways. Is this what you mean? If so, I would just have two bulkheads, one with a cap, and the other is the humidified air.

Awesome and way easier than messing around with pre-made ultrasonic humidifiers. I use something very similar, except I snagged an IP68 or whatever waterproof fan from the internets for not-much-money, and just sorted through all my old USB chargers etc until I found one that would be suitable. Same thing with the humidifiers, except I use two because my room is located in an awful location and Australia gets hot as manure. Got away with a single one last year in a 4 tier plastic greenhouse (with a big tray of perlite at the bottom) with only a few issues on the hottest days.
