it took me 3 hours because I kept screwing up the stitching. I was up till 2 in the morning trying to do it right and it still looks like crap. I give you props for doing an awesome job on them

These are adorable. I am working on a project that will have some tea dying in it and I liked the way you got the wrinkled look with the hair dryer. I may try that.I am planning on showing the finished product in a video when I do and if it works out, I will mention that I got the tip from you. Many Blessings and happy flying.

for an A4 sized book i use the tea method but lay em 2 pages side by side on tin foil then stick em in the oven for about 5 mins on 150c - lets you speed dry 6 pages at a time, and uses less power (and makes less noise) than a hair dryer

I like your book. Perhaps next time, wrap the pages in plastic wrap, before painting it. So you can prevent any accidents.

I love making books like this. I usually use fake leather or cardboard and paper for my covers. What type of fabric do you use for your covers? It looked kind of like canvas. It also seems like painting the covers before stitching the pages on would be easier and less messy.

This is my next project. I've been wanting to make a journal cause mine I currently have doesn't feel as personal and I'm not quite as connected with it as I'd like because of such. I'm going to make one for my girlfriend too just need to ask her what her particulars are. These would make amazing dream journals and journals in general. Thank you soooooooo much for posting it. It's an alphabet that Dragon Kind use to write with. When we use Dragon Script it takes much longer to write and while doing so gives you more time to fill the pages with magick. Hope this helps! Blessed be. ~DragonFeather

I used a dental towel. However any stiff fabric will do just fine. ^^ ~DragonFeather

I Love her rings too! I used to wear so many rings back when i was in high school, many looked like this. I moved a few times and had my jewelry packed up for awhile and just rediscovered my rings; what a wonderful feeling! Most of my rings were gifts, but i find many wonderful rings at far east stores (a large chain example is earthbound). Good luck in your search! :)
