Tissue works best for a "flesh" type of book. Papertowel works better for "old", "leather" and such. Also.. if the paper towel is also WET, it works MUCH better. Diluted modpodge works great too!

LOVE it! Halloween is my favorite holiday. I have done one magic book from an old book I found that pages were missing. It came out pretty good. My next will be better! Thanks for sharing!

I bet a bineded sketchbook would be cool. Can write spells on the blank paper in red ink and draw than find a way to age the paper. That would be cool.

Love this. i made a spell book this season with books I found from the thrift store. it was alot of fun. But I like your idea in the box. I will for sure be making more of these in the near future! Great video ... also .. why dont you have more followers?? I feel like i am watching a craft show on TV!! Loved this!

Use E6000 for the pastic spiders on glass, I found that hot glue doesnt hold.
