You're so much fun 😂 Thank you for making the mushroom look less phallic. I was nervous for a moment or two there. Plot-less Hamster Story: Once upon a time, I took in two female WW dwarf hams. I was so excited! Sweet little girl hams
The funniest part is in the beginning they said I have to get the shape right or it could look like something else…. And then proceed to pull out pink tissue 😅
I'm pretty sure my daughter and I laughed most of the way through this video! 😆 She kept telling me how funny you are, while I laughed hysterically at comments such as "not that gesture" and "what am I looking for, and where is it?" 🤣🤣🤣 dying over here rewatching this!!
this was such a rollercoaster hahah but turned out so great! i'm currently on a mushroom spree in terms of hamster decor so this couldn't have come at a better time. might give this a try when i try to make a cardboard mushroom hidey too. thank you for a cool diy idea 💙
All three of my hamsters passed this year, but your general humor has helped fill the empty hammy part of my life for now, and I can't tell you how much I appreciate that
Wow. That's one lucky hamster getting custom made bits and bobs for their habitat. Ain't no other cage out there like that. It's an original. That's one special fluff ball.
that was an amazing rollercoaster of emotions - i laughed too much when you were trying to explain you had to try recolouring the 'shroom! i enjoyed an appreciated, how you made light of a possible problem! what a great way to start my weekend. always enjoy your videos. have a great week, and we shall hopefully see you back real soon.
Oh my god you're brilliant. It's so good to see you here, I've missed your videos and your comedy pieces. The whimsical mushroom 🍄 is soooo cute. Well done... I'm glad it turned out in the end, it could have gone horribly wrong with that other "shape" and then we all would have missed out on the finished product... Love your work, take care and stay safe you beautiful human ❤️🍄😍🥰
Ok, that is freaking adorable and I want to make these just as decor for myself! Thank you for the tutorial! Also, you are hilarious and now I know to make sure the shape is correct and not.... 🍆. 🤣
Ooh that looks awesome! I definitely want to have a go at making some paper mache stuff for my gerbs, but I'll have to use flour glue because, y'know.. gerbils are gods of destruction 😂
Ollie I’m so proud of you for chain g your channel name and your name publicly!! You haven’t fully announced your trans but as a trans guy myself I’ve always kinda sensed it 😭 it’s so inspiring because I’ve always been worried about wanting to be a pet RU-vidr while also being trans.. I thought no one would watch my videos but you really show that it dosent matter if your part of the lgbt you can still make videos that aren’t about that. So thanks !!
I seriously love all of your DIY's! I want to make this for our little Twinkie this weekend. Do you have instructions for making the red paint with food dye?
coincedence or deliberate ....mmmm ! first sherbet lemons on the shelf in the lemon fruit food dish video and now a soup mug featuring a mushroom design in the diy mushroom video .
Honestly I would probably watch your videos even if I didin't have any small pets - you are just hilarious and I love how you can laugh at yourself too. I also wanted to say I think your merch is fabulous (the potty mouth hamster mug has been on my wish list forever). Do you have any plans to get a European supplier - the postage costs are so horrendous I can't bring myself to pay as much as the item again just to have it shipped :-(
Aww thank you! 😊 If you scroll to the very bottom of the shop, in the bottom right corner (on desktop) there is an option to change shipping regions from US to EU. Not every single item is available from the eu store for whatever reason (it's all through teespring so I guess their US supplier is just better stocked) but I'm pretty sure the mugs can be shipped from the eu store and at a more reasonable price! :)
@@SomethingAnimal thanks so much. I feel a bit stupid that I didn't work that out on my own, but I just ordered the mug, and also added a t-shirt too. Your merch (like you) is fabulous. It is a beautiful day indeed when you discover someone who has the same sense of humour as you 🙂
That was hilarious and I was hoping to see at least a picture of the...inappropriate hide on insta or something lmao. Btw I wore my hamster shirt today (all the different species lined up) at the pet store and vet and got lots of compliments!
@@SomethingAnimal that bad, huh? Lmao 🤣 I absolutely love it, please don't ever take it off the shop because when this one is all full of holes and you can barely see the design, I'm gonna need to buy another 😉
@@SomethingAnimal Fair. Also love your vids, watching your content has made me want to get a rodent friend so bad but it's out of our means rn and we don't have an ikea nearby. I live vicariously through your hammy vids.
I love your video, maybe you can help me i live in 57 squermeter house i want build a cage 100×50. Maybe you have some tips wher to put of creat a storage cabinet and cage in one.
We're in a similar situation, adoption only exists for dogs and cats and it you want to adopt anything else you have to personally know someone who it trying to rehome that exact animal, which almost never happens 😣 We also don't have any large chain pet stores here though and rodents are very unpopular pets, which means we don't have rodent mills like many large western countries have. All of our pet shops are little privately owned places and most of them breed their own "stock" of hamsters and mice, so I just avoid buying animals from the ones who keep them in poor conditions and I only support the shops who are taking decent care of their small animals and aren't overbreeding them. I'm happy to give my money to people who are actually trying to treat their animals well, and it means that I'm less likely to get a pet with serious medical problems. The only advice I can really give is to explore as many small pet shops as you can and try to find one that you are comfortable with, that keeps their animals in clean, healthy conditions and that seems to actually care about their work. If you're okay with talking to people you can also ask the owner/workers about exactly where they get their animals and how they care for them. Be wary if they just say they get their animals from "a breeder" and refuse to specify who that breeder is, that's often a red flag for a breeding mill.
@@SomethingAnimal tysm I'm looking for a place to get a dormouse from and I'm struggling to find a decent breeder. Most "pet stores" in my country keep guinea pigs and iguanas in bird cages. Turtles are kept in tubs of water and hamsters in plastic cases with overstuffed and cramped conditions. Made the mistake of buying a hamster from a store like that
Fun fact: you don’t need glue or flour For years I have just dipped toilet paper in water and put it around a ballon with one hamster sized entrance and they love shredding it up!
I've tried plain water in the past to make treat balls (same method as you, putting it around a balloon and cutting a hole), and it works great for those simple designs but personally I found it doesn't hold up as well for detailed designs or bigger builds. You can make some really cute basic huts and things that way though 😊
I had to go check the time stamps of the footage because soup at midnight definitely sounds like me 😂 but it was a different night and at a much more reasonable 9pm 😌
*snicker* Oh, I saw where this was going the minute you pulled out the pink serviettes. At least in the end your goal was an amanita muscaria. For a panicked moment, I thought - based on the base shape - you might be going for a a kind of stinkhorn, which. *snicker*
Hmm how weird, YT hadn't brought up the moss video for me in my feed. Perhaps it's the same for other people, both videos are sitting at 4.9k views even though this video only came out yesterday!
uhhhh... did.. did you accidentally make a.. a uh... pe.... nope, not going to type it. cute finished mushroom in the end, though! much like lemonade, as soon as i try to get video of my doggo doing cute things, she stops... resumes once camera is down again. my hamster is a bit of a derp, too... whenever i try to get cute videos of him holding his little treats to nom nom nom, he decides that particular time to just pouch the treat, or take it into his house. rood.
