I found sewing in sleeves while side seams are open is so much easier

I have a pretty good track record with her patterns! On some patterns, after sewing the first one, I make small adjustments for the next, but all easy fixes. 😁

Lovely, but I think I’d like to see the ruffle on the left top kf the blouse too.

I was thinking about that, too, but then you would have strange ruffle bumps where the buttonhole side overlaps. You could just ruffle the left top at the neckline, so it ends at the button plackets! Easy!

I finished!!!🎉, and guess what!??, it is beautiful!😀. So, i did everything you said in the tutorial, but i used a light white cotton fabric, (because i didn't want to risk another better fabric in case it could fail), and, the ruffle i use a white and blue stripes cotton fabric, and was nice, but later i though: why you don't put ruffle on the end of the sleeves also?, and I DID IT!, and it worked perfectly!. I hope you will be proud of me, and my initiative. 😊❤

Have you had any issues with the fit of Tiana’s closet patterns? I tried one top, the gathering didn’t match the picture and the arm hole was way too small.

Yes, sometimes the armholes are shallow and sleeves tight. This is why muslins/toiles are so helpful (although I’m too lazy and I take the gamble! 😆)

I printed out this pattern in my size and the lines are all criss crossed over each other. The lines don't make any sense as a pattern with seam allowances. I used the Adobe PDF reader the designer recommends as well as 100% printer setting. Any advice on what I am doing wrong? I really like a lot of her patterns, but can't tell the cut lines from the stitch lines because they overlap and cross each other in very odd ways.

I used to print all the sizes, and my eyes would hurt trying to figure out where to cut! Now i use the “layers” feature in Adobe to isolate the lines for my size only!! (You can google directions for this). Game changer! 🎊

@@Sew-Happy I did do this, however I have to use 2 sometimes 3 sizes to get a good fit. It's very hard to tell on some of the patterns as they are just black lines. The color files are great, but of course I like a lot of the ones with just the black lines. :/
