This is pretty awesome. They're leg warmers in disguise! I can't help but think you could even take it to another level with some cheap boots from Walmart or a thrift store to get better long term results. Keep up your creative work!

you can do whatever you like, lol :) just making it simpler for everyone. depending on how much wear you're gonna do to the shoe, yes sewing would be a lot stronger.

This is so cool! But I wonder if these would last longer if you cut off the original shoe fabric, then sandwiched the knitted material between the shoe and something like a Dr. Shoal's shoe insert. I'm going to try this using a white faux fur. Thanks so much!
twila cox I used a old sweater/ dress cover. I cut the sleeves off to the length I wanted it and took a converse and hot glued the sleeves to them. I put the shoes on, and replaced the laces.
These are super cute! I wish I could have the rest of your fabric you used cuz I love that color and half my clothes are that color, so it would match my clothes! and then I was wondering why everyone else can find things like this at thrift stores, and I never can? I think around here nobody gets rid of anything worth buying!
