Wow! I’m currently setting up my Event Business and this is what I’ve been looking for! Dj event planner seemed not not be the best fit but this combo seems modern and very seamless. Love all your videos but this video is seriously a huge eye opener and very informative. Thank you!

Thanks for the video. I'm a a long time DJEP subscriber and out of all of these years...I barely use the features due to the complexity of many of the features. I just don't have the time to sit down for hours to set up templates, forms, etc. Hoping Vibo will rescue me!
People complaining about DJ event planner need to take a step back. It's designed for big roi. It is meant to be bare bones which is normally all anyone needs. If you wanna go HB and Vibo route you BETTER BE multi op.

What up DJ Rick! I use DJ Intelligence as my event planning software. Have you ever used this yourself? If so, how would you compare Honeybook & Vibo to DJ Intelligence? Also, awesome work on all the videos man, love watching them! Keep it up!
Rick... great video. Hope you're doing great. Looking at this and curious. Do you add all of your inquiries, including those from wedding shows, Wedding Wire and the Knot, even though a huge percentage of those will never follow up? Or do you only input the ones that send that second email that you know you'll be interacting with some? Just looking at setting some of this up for the trail to see if it would fit our needs here. Hope you are doing great. :)
Agree with you that DJ Event Planner needs some updating, but it DOES work on a mobile device and it does have a help section (definitely not that intuitive though).

I’d ask the school their stance on clean music and songs with lyrics. I’ve done tons of schools that don’t care what the lyrics are unless they’re missing cuss words, then, on the other hand, some schools hate that there are even songs that mention taboo topics.

So you sold me on Vibo but I can't just sign up and get to work on it, I have to schedule a meeting lol that's not so 21st century! Am I missing something?
Setup a system where they can tweet requests the night of. And perhaps even set it up beforehand in the prior weeks. You can also create a google form etc. That you may give to the school as most schools have a social account promoting the semi formal or prom. And they can post it up there :)
Thanks for all the advice, this was my first prom, I actually went to the School and the Prom committee came up with some song suggest and I took request during,, I was told by the faculty that it was there beat prom
I don't like Vibo to three big reasons, It's overpriced and I don't like the fact that I have to ask my clients to download the app and create an account just to book an their event. Worst, the fact clients can SHARE the song request playlist with their friends and guests puts A LARGE BACKPACK OF ROCKS on the DJ when they abuse that feature. And STILL show up to the DJ booth to request more music. No need for more stress.
1. It's not overpriced. $100ish a month is nothing. Most DJs pay $300 for a wedding wire add account. Plus its ment to be a feature that only a few have that way it's a something you have and not your competition. 2. You just send your client a link to download it. And creating an account is the same with any planning software out there. None of the 52 clients so far has said anything negative only tons of positive. 3. You can limit the number of song requests they can enter. You can also delete ones that are stupid.
@@DJRickWeb To maximize profits and grow your business faster, decrease the amount of liabilities. I also have WeddingWire and Yelp accounts but I never pay for their advertising yet I still get organic leads. I mainly spend my money on Craigslist, Facebook and Instagram ads and I've gotten amazing results. But I have to DIY lots of things
@@DJRickWeb I understand that you make for more money than me and charge more than I do. But here in California, there are too many cheap $300 DJs that dominate the industry and it makes it harder for us professionals to charge more, get booked and survive. They ruin the competition
@@DJRickWeb I was quoted $160 a month just today for me and 2 DJ when. Just a couple months prior I was quoted 100 per and 4 DJs . $160 is a rip off I'm sorry to say.
