@@djtechtools so this is the soundcard you used to cue with headphones, and the hub used to connect midi fighters + soundcard on the ipad. This is a very cool ultraportable Dj setup, great work
Thank you. Makes things much more accessible for kids who have an iPad (for school or whatever) but can’t drop $1k on a 4-deck, plus the portability is off the charts.
@@fowmoufpunk naw I don’t think so, I believe they have a list of controllers that work on iOS .... but Evan if it did it won’t have DVS compatibility, might work in there desktop version tho
I never thought I see the day Ean using a sync button. Going to have to try this app out. I have an iPad 7th gen, so I'm limited, unlike iPad pro that has a USB-c port.
Great video, very informative. I just purchased a IPad Pro to start using with DJay 2. The layering aspect is exactly what I’m looking for as a former user of Traktor Stems. The integration with the Midi Fighters seems seamless. You’re just playing the music out of a Bluetooth speaker?
I always love Traktor, but this year , me with a new IPad (sorry for the pun) I got this app software, why because , I could be a full mobile dj, and have access to Spotify (which is not longer compatible) but I used Beatport Cloud and dj without caring any music on the iPad which helped to play in many raves , here in Berlin (yes underground Raves, kids don’t try this at home ) and gesh, we got so much fun... the Great thing about it, we did all wireless including with Bluetooth speakers...( yes it worked ) but I woke up seen this video.... that confirmed that I did a good investment..... defiantly now this help me to expand the possibilities with this awesome software... Sorry , Traktor ( I love you and I‘m happy that you are a Berlin base Company, but you guys are getting stuck )
Hej, thx for the Video. Can you tell me the name of the midi device you're using? Would it be possible to use the reloop mixtour and add one of these to control the neutal mix? And is it also possible to control the bpm with this device. Cause the mixtour doesnt have the pitch fader. And how are your midi controllers powered? Sorry for all these questions! 😄

I love this controller! But to make a really big update the company should create a second version that uses batteries and that can connect via Bluetooth. That would be the next level for the Midi Fighter Twister!
@@funckyjunky meaning if you find a controller via Blue tooth It might work out but not sure, but what I refer to is that you can play from the app via Bluetooth to some Bluetooth wireless speakers, that's how I did this summer
@@PabloRodriguezwhyCharlieWhy I see. Yeah, that’s possible., but you still probably had some audio delay. If you have a build up and than base drop, it critical to trigger sounds right on time. But its possible. Ehh still, once you go all wireless midi, you cant go back. =P
DJay falls flat w this app. You can only use app live....It will not let you record your mixes on the iPad and save them. Deal breaker that needs to be fixed.

And therein lies the problem. Its so easy that anybody can be a dj. I see you're using Sync, no mixing. I get it but it's so easy to be a dj nowadays. Buuuuuut, I do like the standalone software they have for ios/Mac that allows you separate the vocals, rhythm, and drums. Now thats creative. Its needs a little more work but its ok.
Are you still on this Sync debate again. The fact that CDJs have a BPM Counter and Wave displays means it's the same thing as sync. Let the man teach and stop complaining
