I just got my mini 2. I'm 68 and as a kid always wanted an RC airplane, but never did. I had watched about 12 other videos before finding this one. I'm trying to film video through some trees and branches for a video trailer for my upcoming launch of my novel. I just want to thank you for this video - the clearest, most to the point, most practical I have found. I've been trying to figure out how to slow things down for my project, and had seen others talk about the advanced gimbal settings. But, for me, this video of yours is gold. Thanks - I subscribed and liked. I am truly grateful. PS - the other thing that impresses me is that it appears you actually respond to your followers that comment - again - good show, keep up the good work.

Not sure if your still around but, do those settings work just as well indoors because I shot in a warehouse 4k 30 and the footage was stuttering when yawring

Hi Matthew - the DJI mini 2 settings have changed an now state Max angular velocity. Is this referring to pitch? Also there is an expo graph - what settings would you recommend for all 3 modes?

Not sure if you can help..I have the mini 2, I took it out today and noticed the gain and expo have no effect it's to fast..no matter what settings I put it on it makes no difference on any modes..I'm lost..

Hello Mattheww Brennan, I have a question. Today I've tried to change pitch and yaw settings as yours, but first I switched from metric to imperial units. Now can't get back to metric, I have only degrees/second. How to get it back, do you know by any chance?😁

I had thought 16:9 gave me more information, but MB correct, 4:3 uses the most of the sensor's pixels, 16:9 is cropped from th 4:3 image. Thanks, MB.

I just received my mini 2. Being my first drone I didnt want to buy the newest and most expensive thing out there. Anyhow, I tried to follow your steps and was able to do most but it seems that maybe there has been an update since the video was created? I can’t seem to do all the things you’ve done here.

I also started on 25 fps and after repeated attempts at trying to fix the jitter, and one attempt buying ND filters as thought that was causing it (maybe party so), finally switched to 30 fps and issue resolved immediately. Love the settings apart from the yaw speed, find the yaw to be too fast whilst doing an orbit, knocked it down to 28

Hi I have updated to RC Firmware 04.11.0034 App Version 1.6.9 and cant change out of 4K video when I select 4K 30 on the screen it RES & FPS is not available what am I doing wrong

Not being a total newbie to photography, I understand the meaning of M.M., but it seems I cannot set it in Pro Mode. In AUTO I can simply slide it to my needs, in PRO it seems to be fixed at "-3.0" and without changing shutter speed or ISO I cannot change exposure of my images / video. Is there a way to change M.M. even in PRO mode? Thanks in advance.

Hi Matt, excellent videos, I'm lapping them up. Not sure if you'll see this comment but you mentioned you use 1/60th shutter and try to aim for about -0.3 or -0.7 exposure, however you didn't mention if this can only be achieved with ND filters, or is there another parameter that can be changed?

It was there when I first bought the drone but now its gone. Have DJI removed it in an update and if so what are my options now please? Great info (as usual) and I'm making a checklist to keep in my mini 2 bag so I can verify they are still set correct after updates happen. Good timing to do this (and tinker with my new DSLR) since I won't actually be flying until at least Sat with crazy weather we are having!

It's not clear what are the other options to the "Emergency Only" propeller stop, what is "the emergency event", what does it mean that it is enabled for emergency ... there is lack of context.

You explained what everything does except for payload mode, all you did was tell us what it means but not what it does. You did that for everything else but that.

Good tips. JPEG+RAW is great for static images. The recycle time for the shutter could be too slow for many moving objects.

Does your aircraft actually restart after resetting the camera parameters like the dialog box says? In the camera tab at the bottom there is a reset camera parameters button. When you press it a box pops up that says your aircraft will restart automatically. Mine does not restart at all. Just curios. Thanks

great video this is my fist kinda real drone, before i really set up .i have the most trouble with getting the sky right since i send it up to take alot of photos and vids of on going weather events and the aftermath .as i chase storms in the oklahoma area. usa, what would u suggest on bright days and also taken cloud video on geeting them really looking good plz pm if u like i could use some help

took me forever to adjust the yaw rate,for me it is way to slow. hidden under the gimbal adjustment tab. not a gimbal adjustment it is a drone control adjustment
