Hopefully not coming up anytime soon. Just since the Mini 4 Pro is so new. What would be the point of this and this video talking about a product that may not be out for at least 3 more years?

They’re running out of content to make. First it’s video’s like this, then it’s a video when the product is announced, then another video when it’s released, then the next video is the demonstration. Next then it’s a video titled, “thoughts after 2 weeks” with a sad looking thumbnail. The next video is “thoughts after 2 months”. The final video will be titled, “Is it still worth it in (whatever year it will be) There’s not a lot of creativity or originality in any of these tech videos.

Mini 4 is just a mini 3.😂 Was same deal with mini 2. Which was pretty much a rebranded mini 1. They do a major update every 2 years(so really mini, mini 3, mini 5, mini 7 and so on), but they release a touch-up a year later.

1. The most important thing for mini 5 pro needs is an active fan cooler ! ... 2. Covered memory and type-c inputs.( and maybe new RC3 radio covered inputs ) 3. Maybe 2x Optic Zoom for parallax effect. 4. Bigger sensor, same as in pocket 3 . 5. Quick detach and launch propellers.

A better fan would be great, but the limit of less than 249 grams stops it from being real...

@@RobHK haha definitely, currently got the Mini 2SE just before I went on ski vacation. However I’m still planning to upgrade to a mini 3 or 4 pro later this year or next year. Might even consider going for the mini 5 if it got features I really like.

It needs a strobe light at the bottom to see the drone.. 180º pointing backward. The pop-on props are essential. Screws suck.

Wishing away the present day ... I speculate any upgrades need to lighten the chassis and battery to be sub 250g. So easier to break or smaller physical drone whick would not be as good in the wind and lesser battery time unless there is a leap in battery power density per weight technology

Visibiity is definitely a problem so flourescent yellow, green, or orange seems logical based on emergency vehicle colors but if there is research on the best visibility colors for airplanes then those colors. Thanks!

I really Expect and Hoping Dji fucos on Durabilities of each part that Prone in Crashing and Have a water proof/Resistance especially fly in the heavy Rains and protect the propellers from water..

Hoping for adjustable aperture. Finally getting rid of those ND’s and changing your framerate in flight instead of coming back, land and change the filter. If they accomplish that I will buy it, otherwise I stick to the 4.

1) 360° Obstacle avoidance needs to be enhanced!. See further, faster, and better (also details). 2) Better KI Tracking (also multiple persons), new tracking modes like cable cam mode with tracking Points of Interest (could be implemented also in waypoints). 3) A small, optional one-handed RC controller with GPS to use the drone as an action drone (follow me mode) on a bike, skis etc. 4) hopefully propellers to snap 5) Sensor size will stay the same. 6) More battery time (mini4 pro is not as good as the mini 3 pro). 7) would love a Mini 5 pro + Version with C1, plus Battery, beefier shell and motors. (400g)

No fan to cool down the electronics inside especially the transmission module. My Mini 3 pro is now defective because of this issue. So I hope to see this added with the mini 5

I think that they could potentially add dual cameras on dji mini 6 ( its too soon for mini 5 i think) the second camera could have 3X optical zoom for shots of different types. I think the biggest problem will be weight 😅

Ok im listing a BIG upgrades im personaly, want to : 1 - for fisrt .. and most important for me, 16x 32x zoom, yes its possible! and use a minimum 4x optical .. yes its possible. 2 - increase speed, maybe like a air3 speed , and for last 3- i lithe visionary add , maybe like VTOL, using a lithe changes on body, for use more air resistence to create sustentability, and of course, increase fly time, and distance of coverage, if you understand me , today mini 4 pro can go 20km.. BUT BUT.. very very slow, and not usable, its danger, but with some ideias like this, can be possible , Thnks this is my contribuition for new releases... kkkk

The major selling point for the Mini series is its sub 250g weight. This will restrict what they can do in upgrades.

I think with the new remote ID laws for Part 107 flyers that they should focus on a new firmware update that broadcasts remote ID when you use the newer RC2 remote. Having to buy the Intelligent Plus battery at $100 each to get this feature for the mini 4 pro is kind of crazy to me. Especially when no where do they plainly let you know this information without having to seek it out in the very back of the user manual. So basically I spent about $1,200 US for the fly more combo and now I’ll still have to invest another $300 US for the intelligent plus batteries to get this feature if I want the same amount of batteries. Which I do understand they get more flight time. But having a couple backups is still always good. Or I can buy an external remote ID broadcasting device that attaches to the drone. Me personally I just don’t like attaching stuff to it. As it affects everything. Flight time, aerodynamics, control, everything. I see no reason they shouldn’t be able to fix this issue with a firmware update tho if the remote and craft are already sending coordinates to and from its self and the remote while connected to satellites. Seems it should be easy enough to add the remote ID into a firmware update. But I could be completely wrong as I’m not a tech guy lol

I can tell you exactly when the Mini 5 pro will be available. If my Mini 3 Pro purchase is anything to by, the second I bought it, the Mini 4 Pro became available. I am planning on buying the Mini 4 pro in late August 2024.

Nice brother I hope when mini 5 pro come to market and you review with 4 pro.. 👌🏻.. I'm in USA I bought 4 pro combo with RC 2 remote was $1,159 .. wow.. mini 5 could be more like 1,300 up I guess.. between first mini.. $500 .. and mini4 now.. you can tell it's a big difference price 😂

Mini 5?? Toooo soon. Won't get it. If DJI continues to flood the market like this, then I believe that they know that something is about to happen to the consumer drone market.

ahhh just make arms stronger by making them more aerodynamic in shape you know short of being wings like the military osprey, green, caution orange, black, blue, aqua marine, oh ahhh slimmer battery like 5000+ma cell phone has, see how easy it is to weight reduct?, now you can have the minature standing motionless cooling fan, dt need spot light, make it a add on, increase cards to at least 16 gigs, 4k 120, sensors constant in all modes, with manual on/off, snap on props in direction of rotatation for added security, cell phones have 200× telephoto you could have at least55×, yep! mini 5 pro 55× 1inch sensor with180 wide view at 55mph, ohhhh yeah a flying pocket 4 avata 2 mini 5 pro below 250g, think about its a no 🧠er😂

They should remove the OA sensors completely and make it more robust to protect the gimbal and prop arms. So it will not matter if you stuff it into a tree as it will not break. Snap on props would be ideal. A bigger sensor and second tele zone lens or better zoom capability would be ideal.
