They cut corners on VPS as well. A 100 dollar tello has a minimum lux of 10 while the Neo has a minimum lux of 15. Which is why I posted my own Neo flaw on my channel. DJI did confirm to me it’s an indoor drone but it performs poorer then their usual reputation even compared to a drone half the Neo price
People say a lot of things on the internet, most of it total BS (especially in FB groups). Keep up the good work Ian and speak whatever you believe to be the truth at any given time.
Thanks for all your effort in testing everything. Did you test with Remote 3 or with other controller? i flying my nazgul with o3, goggles 3 and remote 3 and i havent had any issues yet.
Have you tried alerting other channels to the O3/Goggles 3 issue? I'm really surprised you're the only one covering this critical bug in widespread FPV hardware.
So I just ordered an air unit and goggles 3 from getFPV and then I find this so i'm about to pack them up and ship them right back as i havent opened them yet! What goggles would you suggest I buy in place of them? Keep the air unit and get goggles 2?
Is the broadcast mode turned on ? I have the Avata 2 and never could get 60mbps link connection after arming. I didnt realize broadcast was on and shut it off and got better performance. Admittedly this is 04 but just a thought.
Everyone told me that they fixed the RX loss between the 03 air unit and the DJI controller2 and it happened over and over and over again with the quad I had I ended up having to put ELRS and get a boxer so it’s the same song and dance I guess with the goggles three and they’re firmware updates🤮
My Neo was toilet bowling and being vague about holding position in a 20 acre field for a period of time and had 21 satellites showing in on the remote, no buildings nearby …🤔🤔🤔😳
DJI not answering makes everything just worse. I understand that admitting Mistakes is problematic in many Asian Cultures but this is not how to deal with Customers. Even saying that they are actively investigating would be at least something. The other theory would be that they knew already that this will happen. In years of no Problems with Vistas and O3's, this is the first time that I am grounded.
I have just tried. I armed the drone and switched the googles 3 then. And it connected. It does not mean every googles do. I tried with two googles 3 I have. But I also had similar issue with googles 3 and avata2. It almost lost the signal and stayed at 0-1mps before it was disarmed. See it: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-WO0bggN0HO0.html Is it the same? DJI asked me to update. I did but haven't tried in flight yet.
