Excellent tutorial thank you so much for these little mini learning videos older folk like myself need to keep watching these over and over again to get the best out of our DJI products.. YaHOOOOOOOOOOO.. 👍👍 Mikey
an explanation of custom in the time lapse would be appreciated - ? is there a way to capture a timelapse while moving the camera - I'm an artist and want to show different views of me making art during time lapse?
if you record with video+JPEG, video+RAW you can get the photos and merge them in an editing app for 4k video. the timelapse feature is for quick users, 4k is overated, you dont need 4k. if you need it, do the editing yourself.
@@truthseeker6804 Wow. How would I live my life without smart people like you telling ME what I do and do not need. Yeah, forcing users to edit themselves in post is what makes companies great.
@@chaozheng9505 well I would rephrase, most people don't care if a timelapse video is in 4k or 1080p. If you want it then do it through the photos, if you're not willing to go through that, then you likely don't care. Currently it isn't possible for the device. Anyway have a good day. And 4k is overated.
First of all Pocket 2 has a problem with motionlapse. Gimbal is shaking itself when recording motionlapse. I replacemented the device and new device came. But the problem still contiounes. This is so bad. Also it's not recording 4k motionlapse.. It's only 1080p are you serious?
Hi there, the DJI Pocket 2 is not waterproof. We recommend that if you need to use it underwater, you use it with the DJI Pocket 2 waterproof case. Thanks.
I just got pocket 2 about a week ago. Is anyone else having focus issues during time lapses? I was testing out a time lapse of a record player playing through a record, with the camera on the tripod, set focus to where I wanted, and let it go. At about 10 minutes the locked focus seems to set itself to the middle of the frame. Nothing is moving but the spinning record and the tonearm across the record. Any thoughts? Thanks?
Hi there, the maximum resolution of DJI Pocket 2 Timelapse mode (Timelapse & Motionlapse) is 1920x1080p. In Hyperlapse mode, the resolution can be can be set to 1080p, 2.7K, or 4K.

Mine does the same, but it doesn't appear to affect the recorded motion in a bad way. My first thought was that it does it to ensure that the motion actually occurs by going too far and then coming back.
@@Erik_Sharp thank you Erick. I'm talking to support because it appears this is not normal. I'm waiting this week to hear from them and might have to send it for an exchange
if you havent returned it, theres micro usb adapter on amazon. also theres cables you can use from usb c to micro, to use the bottom of the pocket2, and theres cables you can use plus the usb c. do some research.
*But DJI blew it once again by not allowing outputted Time-Lapse and Motion-Lapse movies in higher resolutions than just HD ! Why can't we shoot a Motion-Lapse, or a Time-Lapse, and be able to custom set the output resolution of that completed sequence in resolutions higher than HD ? Why not be able to set output to 2.7K or 4K ? NOT GOOD ENOUGH !!! FOR THIS REASON I REFUSE TO BUY DJI POCKET 2 !!! I will stick with my DJI OSMO Pocket 1 !!!!*
Hi Mark, in DJI Pocket 2, the solution for the time-lapse is 1920*1080P. In Motion-lapse, it supports 1080P, 2.7K, and 4K. Thank you for your attention.
@@DJITutorials I understood that only "Hyper-Lapse" would allow higher setable output resolutions, but both Motion-Timelapse, and Regular Time-Lapse were limited to 1080p resolution only (???)
@@markjob6354 You are correct. Had mine for four days now and can confirm that only hyperlapse allows the higher resolutions. timelapse and motionlapse are 1080p only. I suppose that a stationary hyperlapse is the same as a timelapse (provided that there is no gimbal drift). So far I am very impressed with it. So much better than my GoPro + Karma grip setup.
Hi there, sorry for the inconvenience caused. Could you please record a video to show us the details of the tracking problem? We'd like to help you check it. By the way, we'll aslo forward your feedback to the related team. Thanks.
