I miss those days when we all had a laugh. no one feels offended for themselves and on behalf of others. We did Respect each other. We were United not Divided.
You mean when men had a laugh.. Comeon guys, history didn't begin when you were born. Men and women have not been equal since basically the neolithic revolution. There is a lot to make up for. I kind of get why it has to become a sensitive topic that will divide to reach a different equilibrium in the future.
@Ira Hey, if you want to actually have a discussion, how about you stop constantly insulting me? Your insults mean nothing to me, but it would be more productive for the both of us.. I'll try to stay objective here: The original point was that we "used to be "united not divided" and that's what I was disagreeing about. For most part of human history, men and women have not been equal, so how can jokes be shared equally? You might be surprised because I do not fit into your dichotomy, but I agree with you. I still say not every joke is the same, but it would be my goal, too, that people become less sensitive again, more able to take a light hearted joke as such. But like I said, I understand why, when the goalposts move, people become oversensitive.
