If you watch in FULLHD, you can see that the ball dissappers in mid air (and then reappears) when Maria hits it the second time... but still very funny! :D

they have editing programs on the computer to make it look like a real ball. another good video showing something like this is /watch?v=yMI3DGdzT00 on the first part the ball on the far left is different from the others cause it isnt real. they might have used the same trick here
