Wow Rick, this video is GOLDEN! I've been full time for 11 years in Key West and appreciate everything you have to say. I would think that is super agressive and personally, I would feel that the company doesn’t have enough business to send me message almost everyday; but also because leads does not necessary know that you don’t work alone but have a team of DJ’S. But that’s MY feeling and it can be biased as I’m from France and agressive marketing mostly comes from the USA, where it proven that works :-) Anyway, that is super interesting to learn about your lead funnel. I’ve planned on creating a Calendly for some time now and I’ve just did it. Keep on posting quality contents. Cheers

At 7:41, change the last 2 bullet points so that they complete the main sentence (Once you open it, you will be able to....). So for "Our easy to use planning app", the sentence should actually start as "Utilize our easy-to-use planning app"

@@DJRickWeb Haha I just had a client not be able to open any of my emails so I had to save as pdf and send them manually, that's what made me think of it. Do you like the new Honeybook files or do you like the legacy files better?
Another question, would you be able to do a video to show some insight into your post booking workflows? Your "booked DJ XXX" automation is 47 steps, as a VIBO user too I know you have a lot of things streamlined for planning there. So really curious all the behind the scenes steps you do to get 47 items on that list!
So, question about the Honeybook automations. If a client responds within let's say the 1st or 2nd automation email, how do you prevent the remaining automated emails from being sent to the client? Do you need to manually need to go into the project to stop the remaining automated emails from being sent?
Yes. But like mentioned. Its just one click. Deoending on the reply we go in a modify the automation for the remanding emails sent. Each cleints profile gets basically a copy of the automation applied to them. Then you can go in and remove certain emails or adjust the timing to be less agressive.

I dont see any options for that in Honey book on my end ...... ... are you manually texting new leads .... or do you have some type of upgraded Honeybook that allows that ? ...
I noticed some of your tasks have a require approval before sending- Is this to avoid them responding and then getting the automated emails since there are near daily interactions up front?
Correct. There are two different brochures with different prices depending on when the date is. Then there the email the next day is held to avoid sending over top a reply
Is there a site where I can get referrals as a new dj? I haven't been able to find something like a sub contractor type thing and if there isn't one then I think someone should come up with one asap

Yes I have a different follow up sequence for after a consult. And I always just ask if I can send a proposal over. The proposal reserves their date for 10 days while they think things over
Great video. So how long do you temporarily hold a date if you get an inquiry? Or do you hold it at all? We currently hold a date for 7 days. On the 7th day is when we send out the "don't want to be a pest, but we're going to release the hold we had on your date" automation, and that's the email where people usually finally respond.
