This is the finale of my Donkey Kong Country 2 Epic Orchestral Medley. You can hear the full medley here: • Donkey Kong Country 2 ... There are many parts to it, but this excerpt just worked so well on its own that I figured I'd make it a standalone track. I call the track "Forest Blast" in honour of Forest Interlude and Bramble Blast. I also considered calling it "Web Symphony" to mix up Web Woods and Stickerbush aka Stickerbrush Symphony. The original tracks were composed by David Wise.

People will probably laugh and heckle me for this but... This remix literally brought tears to my eyes. Right around the 2 minute mark. A rush of feelings and emotions that I suppressed for years on end came rushing back to me. Never has a piece of music ever made me feel this way. Thank you.

RebeccaETripp Oh my God I never even saw this reply until I revisited your video just now! I would've LOVED to have seen it being a huge Chrono Trigger fan (I've even done a beat remix of it, definitely not up to par with your orchestral remixes so I'll save plugging it for you LOL), but unfortunately it seems that was back on the 6th of July 😞 I hope your performance went as great as I imagine it would! I dont know where to start. First of all. Forest Interlude and Stickerbrush Symphony ARE my 2 absolute Favourite Songs from Donkey Kong Country 2. The way of the Instrumental Arrangment is just perfect. It gives off such a Harmonic Vibe. Easing yourself of all the trouble if you just let yourself fall into the Song, specially with Headphones on. The transision between the 2 Songs is flawless. In my personal opinion, THIS is a Masterpiece of 2 wonderful Songs which are as standalone are remarkable. I am happy and greatful that i got to hear this Outstanding Song. -^^-

I imagine that orchestrating David Wise's music could be intimidating because of how good it is especially considering the hardware he had to work with, but I can truly say that you have done an outstanding job! Keep up the good work!

Stickerbrush symphony always reminds me of my grandma. She passed away last year after lung cancer has been diagnosed one year prior. I used to play DKL2 as a child when I visited her almost every time. Thanks for this wonderful iteration of this masterpiece. Makes me happy and sad at the same time. Good times I love to remember.

It's so rich, so well-integrated. I also feel some of the menace and desperation present in other DKC tracks... And then toward the end, more peaceful but still full-bodied, as though the desperation finds relief and fulfillment... I'm still slowly making my way through a chronological playlist of your stuff. It's satisfying indeed to hear the progression. Can hardly wait until I hit the full DKC2 medley.

In all my years of gaming, I've never heard a composition as majestic and nostalgic as the ones I find on your channel. DKC2 is one of my all time favorite games because of the masterpiece of a soundtrack it brought with it (Stickerbrush Symphony and Mining Melancholy are my absolute favorites) and this just adds to the majesty of it all. If Diddy's Kong Quest ever gets a remake in HD via the Tropical Freeze engine, this remix of yours should be in it! Both songs have this dark, isolated theme to them that illustrates the frustration the Kongs are going through. Since Donkey Kong isn't with them, they have no choice but to stay strong and overcome their fears.
