Textures, are private only renaissance. Graphics are private. Author will release when ready. The Parkour mod is www.nexusmods.com/dyinglight2... #dyinglightgame #dl2 #e3
Techland needs to look at what modders are doing and WHY people love these mods. They need to make the game feel and function more like E3 2018. Thats what everyone wants. We dont want events and crossovers, all of those are just something to keep us busy and distract us from how techland ruined their game. I think Dying Light 2 needs a total visual and mechanical overhaul with animations, textures, and models to make the game more like it was showcased in E3.
Exactly I’ve said this thousands of times and I’ll keep saying it until they do something about it they know what they did and they want us to forget about it when we’re never going to
@Spectre-pj4dj well all we can do as a community is really complain and make criticisms while still praising their game. Best to not praise it too much, not forget about what they did in the past. I love Dying Light 2 and am still hopeful for it but they really gotta just put their blood sweat and tears into it to gain back that player base that's missing.
i love what they did with the parkour update, it’s so much better now than at launch and i don’t wanna be one of those people but if we just got this instead of what we have now man
It's no more halts right? That's cool. Can you do this video again except for showing a high jump from a safe landing, a far jump from a slide, and a swing bellow by pressing F on a climbable with nothing blocking under it? Otherwise I'll just assume those are the same.
@txpnr6866 this is a lot better than what we have, even after the parkour+night update. Much more cinematic, smooth animations. The zombie jump at the beginning of the video is much more realistic with its height, and the far jump has much better momentum than it does now and doesnt make that loud ass WHOOSH sound. Techland doesn't seem to focus on small IMMERSIVE things in the game and focuses on the big. That's my problem with the game. They need to focus on the SMALL details and make the game more immersive like it was showcased in E3 and add more features missing from Dying Light 1. In short Dying Light 2 should be more like a dark, gritty survival game that is realistic and immersive... not like your typical RPG
What Techland could do to make it feel more like E3 are some minor tweaks, but could help A LOT : Morhan sound affects from grabbing surfaces and parkour, Motion blur on the edges of the screen, FAR JUMP SPEED IS THE SAME AS YOUR MOMENTUM, You keep your after boost speed after boost is smoothed out, overhauled, Aiden Caldwel skin textures, EVERY ANIMATION IS THE SAME SPEED : CURRENTLY AS OF FEB 11 2024 SLIDING IS STILL SLOWER THAN RUNNING THIS NEEDS TO BE FIXED Other random stuff: if aiden is superhuman, he should be cracking in breaking the ground under him when he jumps 9 feet in the air there should be a fx for that. There should be skills to make fighters get off of you faster since you do have superstrength. Why does unarmed damage to barely anything you have superstrength you should be able to knock them out with a slap. Make the unarmed combat buffed so you could have fist fights!
I admit dying light two made some great improvements to the parkour but it just seems so unrealistic like “Oh wow inhibitor makes me jump 6 feet off the ground” shouldn’t the inhibitor do something similar to antizen in the first game where you have to fight off the infection especially since aiden got bit by a volatile
The inhibitors are experimental vaccines that actually progress the infection without turning Aiden; so the inhibitors are making him more like a volatile in terms of strength and speed, hence the 6-foot vertical leap.
@@mrok7 adding realism isn’t gonna change anything lil buddy it’ll only make it worse Have fun If you want realistic parkour go outside and do some parkour
He has the E3 2018 outfit. (not 2019) it's a mod. You can't get this outfit in the game. However, you can get the E3 2019 skin by doing bounty for harper at the Fish Eye in the central loop
I hate the fucking HUD of this game I played the entirety of the first game but even though the HUD there was okay and that it never bothered me but the HUD from the sequel is outright ugly and a mess
I mainly Hate how the HUD is colorful and bright like an RPG game is. Like they throw all these bright ass colors in your face, and it's not just the HUD, it's the environment too. Like all of the yellow markers telling you where to go are useless and stupid, like we players are smart you don't need to shove a bunch of shit in our faces telling us where to go we ain't stupid. I also HATE how all of the pickups and consumables and valuables are showcased with bright ass colors like Rare, Epic, Legendary. It makes the game feel like fortnite or a mobile game and unlike the dark gritty survival action packed game that it's supposed to be. Dying Light 1 was actually good at hiding all that shit while still having all of the RPG elements. It still felt realistic and gritty even though it was still an RPG. At some times you would even forget that you're playing an RPG game. Meanwhile Dying Light 2 throws all of these colors in your face like you're playing fortnite or something.
