From the pilot episode of That's Life, starring Robert Morse and E.J. Peaker. The classic song from the 1965 Broadway show "Do I Hear a Waltz' comes in at the dance club when Bobby (Morse) realizes that he hears a different song, and it just so happens that Gloria (Peaker) hears it too.
Music by Richard Rodgers with lyrics by Stephen Sondheim.

I rememeber watching this series when I was in Jr. High. I think I was the only Black kid in school who was into Musical Theater when everyone else was into Motown. I enjoyed popular music of the time, but I was a closeted fan of Broadway. Outside of a high school production of "Oklahoma" I would yet to see a live stage performance of a musical until the high school and the special theater program that the set up for School kids in LA in the mid sixties and then "HAIR". Most other musicals I had to wait for a TV showing of the Hollywood version. this show was interesting, even thought I was very unfamiliar with a number of the songs incorporated in the various episodes. But the show began to feel more like a variety show with a story structure instead of a Musical. It was a brave experiment for ABC to pull off and hats off to the network for trying. In the age of boring performance competition shows, I think I would welcome a show of this nature again if someone like Apple Plus or Netflix decided to pull this off.

It's such a shame the watermark is right in the center of the video. Thanks to the uploader we get to see a few clips of such a wonderful wonderful show but... the watermark is so annoying. This song is done beautifully. I love it to death but the watermark just destroys it to some extent.... I can't even see clearly the expressions on Robert Morse's face.😥

Nevermind. I just found the full episode without any watermarks somewhere else. Thanks uploader for sharing this clip on here. I got to at least see what a great song this episode had.
