Darth my man!! LOL, I once literally dosed off while leading a Q&A during the Service Meeting....on stage!!!! NOT kidding. It's so damn boring; all of it. Designed for 5th grade reading level and it's only gotten worse!!

Do you know what a bible study aid is? The bible is a study aid since there are no originals available. Every one of those books by the JW organization are filled with scriptural references that the reader is supposed to look up. Being a JW is hard work.

@Surviving Paradise Yes. Had a few laughs, thank you for that. At the kh meetings/ministry school, we never graduated from level to level as it is in the school system. I remember the comments in the daily texts. Some of the explanations of some of the scriptures were way out in left field. It's as though they think everyone is retarded and don't know how to comprehend a group of words in the nwt scriptures unless they write something about it. You're so right about that. I thought when I was a kid/youth that I was retarded because of them. It was because I was getting passing grades in reading comprehension at school that I knew it was not my mental handicap. I guess they didn't want the watchtower to look like they were telling the jws what their doctrines were. Watchtower was only supposed to be the publisher for the jw religious body, not the dictator of the group. You can tell now. The wt has shrugged all responsibility off and placed it all kn the shoulders of the elders in each kh. Yes, why else do they sell the kh and dissolve the criminally guilty kh/organization. Yes, each kh is now considered an organization--it's not the entire society that is the organization. It is good to research that based on the decision that came down from Russia. In fact, Russia called the wt, the administration centre for jehovah's witnesses.

True, the wt has their legal department in each branch for wt and the crown. The elders are the stupid/ignorant ones for calling the brach. Why call the brach, the branch office only tries to collect info from the elder to protect wt, not the victim/survivor or the elder. It was clear from the Australian Royal Commission into Institutional Responses to Child Sexual Abuse hearings.

WOW, we are the same guy LOL. I was consistently over while conducting the WT for over eight years. It might be the one position that can really wake up an elder. When you're forced to study and read, the lights start coming on. They twist everything, often within a few words of each other!

They’ll say something to effect of: “As Witnesses we follow the command given to early Christians to “Go therefore and make disciples….baptizing them….teaching them all the things…” that’s been taught to us, as Jehovah’s servants (Matt. 28:19,20). “ They purposely leave out “in the name of the Father, & of the Son, & of the Holy Spirit” b/c that contradicts their baptism ?’s. They will also never quote any passage that says “baptize in the name of Jesus” that’s found throughout the NT b/c again, it contradicts their ideologies & doctrine. It was really eye opening seeing that the 2013 version of the NWT contradicted the famed RBi8 version that included footnotes for references. Even though the RBi8 was a bastardize, doctrinal bible, it was at least semi honest w/ its footnotes to highlight changed words (obedience = worship, as an example). The 2013 took out scriptures, removed footnotes, inserted the word Governing Body; I mean it’s a true doctrinal bible, but it still contradicts WT teachings, namely Jesus is a mediator for all men, Great Crowd in Heaven, Faithful Slave is an illustration (Luke 12), Baptizing in the name of Jesus, Eating of blood came from Animals, etc etc etc etc etc. lol. Man, I could go on & on regarding this subject. Excellent video & great content overall. I’ve heard a couple of ur videos thus far & u have a fan.

Another quote said that if we were to read the bible by ourselves or in small groups then we would be drawn back to darkness to false teachings of the church including the trinity. Basically they say that just as the Ethiopian eunach needed someone else to explain the scriptures, so it is with today that the bible is designed to be interpreted by Jehovahs organisation. That we cannot reach the right interpretation without Gods visible organisation to direct Gods people. Much love to you brother x

It was all about "faith". Then I asked her where in the bible god speaks about it. She was all silent. When the pandemic started I worked in an hospital. Like the Red Revelation Book explains prophecies after they happened and not before. There is no prophecy from Watchtower that has ever come true. I am open for others to prove me wrong.

Enh, can't agree with ou here B1. Much of what they publish is overtly dishonest. See everything from illustrations in books to entire books, like the Creator Book. There messaging isn't a direct reflection of the Bible. It's slanted toward their doctrine

Many times it is down off lessons based on source material. Like Kindergartners are giving simple books rather than an Journal article with PhD-level details. Watchtower and others like grade schools use that approach.

If you're asking the host Manuel, I can only tell you that I'm not obsessed with him at all. But in context of the podcast, JW's claim he is their King and he runs their organization. Unfortunately, they blatantly disobey what words he said that ARE recorded in the Bible. And to your point, he did not ever point to Jehovah's Witnesses as an organization he would create on earth centuries in the future. It's all part of the absurdity.
