I’m in middle of divorce with narcissist he has made difficult so far, I’m in counseling for motion able abuse , I’m trying to build my life again , I’m enjoying the silence and I hope he leaves me alone

Don't hide cash money in house for using them for leaving! I know somebody who had ended really bad after the narcisist had found the money.

Same here. I filed for divorce in February of this year and it’s been a uphill battle but it’s still better than living with my demon ex. I’ll take being broke and happy over being abused and rich anyway.

I just left my narcissistic husband of 27 yrs 1 month ago this Tuesday, no contact was the only way. IT IS POSSIBLE! These videos & surviving narcissism with Dr. Les Carter gave me so much strength and knowledge!

@@laraeshipper8510 I'm not sure if he is really a narcisist but you are doing right... no matter if he is narcisist, borderline, histrionic, or anything else (bipolar or with depression). Avoid unhappy or unlucky!

My ex was happy to leave but never pursued divorce... after his cheating was caught I think he gave up on hovering me back. Idk. I ended up filing because I knew he'd just keep living life not caring how his actions affected me. It worked out and now I'm remarried and have zero contact with the ex narc.

@amanda Johnson-Williams thank you (: it was hard to go through but once I had proof of what he did I felt as tho I could move forward. He delayed signing things and made sure to tell my lawyer he was representing himself... he did file an annulment but my lawyer said that was pointless to file since all he had to do at that point was sign the divorce Decree.

After smearing my name she wants a divorce now she refuses to change. She was in therapy and I saw a small change but she stopped doing

I think a Narcissist would divorce only if it was more beneficial than being married. My Ex would propose to me all the time, bit never actually buy me a ring or make any plans or arrangements. Then, he said he was 'happy the way he was'. 🍒

I am in a marriage with a female narcissist, I use to take everything, and then I started, unknowingly, I decided to start to talk back to her the way she talks to me this turned out horrible, we started yelling and fighting with each other, I then picked lies and how facts was started to be manipulated, we started to break each other down, then intimacy was taken away, then accounts started to be drained and I could not see where the went or what it was used for, when we separated I learned that she reported and seek help for handling a narcissist, that's the first time I heard this word, I studied it 2 weeks 21 hours a day, I went through most of the symptoms of when you have left them, She keeps pushing for the divorce but don't want to start it, so when I started, she attacked me verbally, I begged for 2 years now for repentance, reconciliation, she says she don't want me close to her she does not love me but "we will se where we are q or 2 years from now but I don't want a divorce but I have to pay everything and you won't have a marriage, I am shatterd by this yo-yo game

Can you speak about the flip? Recently divorced, thought I wanted it but l then decided I want back in. She says she didn’t want to end but is hesitant to get back together making me question if she wanted me to do the “ bad thing” all along. Who’s the narc I’m so confused. It may be me or both of us.

My narcissistic wife screwed up the marriage. She used a false cancer scare to abandon me by way of brutal smear campaign. She chased everyone away from me and caused me to lose everyone I know by way of her destructive sophistry and smear campaign along with triangulation of people. ******* Do you have a video about “What happens when the narcissist abandon’s the non-narcissist?🤔

Ben, Could you kindly tell me, If a Narcissist is in a relationship (boyfriend/girlfriend) and or married and they cheat with a side supply, do they not care about the side supply too, meaning that whether married or not they just don't care about anyone??

I've recently admitted to cheating for nearly my entire relationship and marriage, and I've cut contact with my numerous supplies, as my wife and I try to work thru it. It was very easy to cut contact, even tho I did care about a couple of them. It hasn't been difficult to release them. It's more exciting to have the opportunity to look for new ones, even though I haven't been engaged in any of that behavior.

@@vlindstrom Well, thank you for your reply, but you sound like you're an aware Narcissist or a person who is willing to make change. What about the unaware Narcissist?? And yes, it might be easier to look for new supply but as one ages looks to some people become a factor.

@@passion8princess261 well I'm very recently aware, although I've been called a narcissist by many coworkers who witnessed my behavior. I'm only 33 and am frequently mistaken for being in my early 20's, so unfortunately that option won't disappear for age related reasons. I'm having a moment of clarity but it's not clear I will be able to maintain my good behavior. I do care about and love my wife, it just wasn't enough. Finding new supply is incredibly easy for me and that is a big challenge I face

@@vlindstrom Awareness only came to you recently? What made you aware? I truly believe that Narcissist or not, what makes someone bad is truly their behavior. It's not even them, it's bad behavior. You say finding supply is easy?? Be careful, because sooner or later those behaviors will catch up and more supply will notice.

@@passion8princess261 I'm trying to be as careful as possible. My wife told me I might be a narcissist, and she's not the first person to say this. Supply is too easy to come by, and although I love my wife, sometimes I've been tempted over the years because it was so easy to cheat, I almost never approached women, didn't go to clubs or bars really, but it was always there. I've suspected I was a narcissist, but dismissed it. I will say, that I cared about a couple of the women, but never wanted to change my situation or leave my wife. I wanted to have my cake and eat it too, and I did for years.

i mean, can narcissist heal/change and become not narcissists? does that make sense? lol Will you remain a narcissist if you are diagnosed as one? i am just confused because i am in a trauma bond and i am not sure at this point if i am the narcissist or if it is him? or if we are both or if we are both not narcissist and just have pstd from our childhoods?

@@allysiren it’s unlikely you are the narcissist because you are reflecting and questioning. Narcissists do not reflect or questioning themselves, if they do it’s only to justify that they were right. They can only change if they become aware of their detrimental behaviour and want to get help in changing. They are devoid of empathy and I don’t believe they can develop empathy they can only mimic it

@@allysiren They can change if they work hard and are relentlessly honest and consistent. Lee, Ben and other self aware narcissists admit they will always have the disorder and they have to stay diligent. If they stop therapy, if they stop the self work, they can and have fallen back into disorder at times (earlier on).
