I personally think the huntsman elite is better than most other keyboards, the optomechanical switches and the macros and on board memory plus the back lighting and edge lighting just make it stand out more than other keyboards and it still has the really satisfying mechanical sound still.
depends what you buy lol- i found an LCD drawing pad for literally 50p (thats abt 30 cents maybe?) and free shipping! The same item was going for £3-6 on other websites, so it deffo depends what items you find on the tiktok shop lol
He bought it with his money, not get it free. Beside their coupon just make it more "believable" that make u think u catch a good quality keyboard with low price. But the truth they just rebrand it and sold it at x4 x5 the price. Just some typical shop scamming beginner type.
It's pretty much always on sale on multiple sites though, not this specific one but the GK61 (The exact same model). It's currently $47 on amazon lol, they basically just sold it for the avg price lmao
This happened with my nana at a seafood restaurant. They gave her a big coupon for discounted shrimp. The shrimp sucked. They were new business and she figured it would help them out gently/politely let the now the shrimp was rubbery and didn't taste good. This was after the waitress looked really hurt when we didn't want a to-go box for anything. We haven't gone back since. Same concept, different scenario unfortunately-
yo hipyo, could you start including the spacebar in your shorts sound test? A huge dealbreaker for me and everyone I know is ticky stabs, it would be VERY much appreciated
Their goal isnt to make a good keyboard. Their goal as to maximise profit magain. The extra money they have can be used for marketing or being able to sent more keyboard to popular streamers for branding
Mr Hipyo, i work in packaging... that branded box probably cost them about $0.60 to $1.30. Thats a tuck top folder with spot UV, 2 color printing with a die cut.
I'm now officially depressed watching this because I'm typing with that exact same keyboard. But i modded it with the Akko v3 cream pro switches and pudding steelseries keycaps. Give me my money backkk
@@HipyoTechlmao but I do think that you pay for the better sound, I don’t think the royal kludge one sounds as good but still you can get that sound with new switches lube and foam for much cheaper than 100$ LIKE TF
Dude, welcome to the real world. Everything you buy has been rebranded. That is how all successful businesses operate, they take what others have, figure out a way to sell it for a higher price. "The art of good business is to be the perfect middleman"
“I wasted $100!!!” “Actually it was $50” “I can’t believe they mailed me something I paid for” “Lemme tell you why it’s overpriced” “Did I tell you I spent $100?”
Yo you and some of the RU-vidrs you’ve collabed with have inspired me to build my own board for Christmas! I found a decent mod platform with 5 pins, a volume knob, and it’s 75%. It comes with reds stock but to start off with imma buy some pre lubed Gateron Oil Kings or some Geckos to dip my feet in.
I have a version of that keyboard that I bought for $30. I put foam in it, taped the PCB, and changed the key caps, and got a great keyboard for under $70.
I got one of these for the same price as a Gk61 and it’s actually great, but I do agree that if it’s not on sale or you don’t get a coupon, it’s very expensive and not worth it
I modded a GK61 as my first keyboard mod project. Sounds amazing. My most recent keyboard project that was SUPPOSED to be hot swap and rven came with a switch puller... thats another story that I'm going to make a video on.
Hey! I really want to buy one of those keyboards as they sound rlly damn good! Do you know where I can buy it with that creamy sound? The keyboards I buy aren't anywhere NEAR The quality of that keyboard
Looks like a red dragon knock-off. I have the red dragon in these colours and and I thought it was mine for a second. Then I realized the number pad was missing. I like mine and picked it up for 50 bucks.
