"Chasing" her for 5 years, 4 and a half of which living under same roof.. Still don't know why she left me without any remorse or explanation. I was with that "come on, where is my reward" kind of attitude in the last 2 years of the relationship. Yes, she should be grateful for the peaceful outcome I granted her.
Very true, I've seen it and it doesn't end well!! The woman ended up leaving after he stopped chasing bcz she truly never loved him. In other words, don't chase, show interest and pursue in a healthy manner so you all can grow together
True. Usually "the chase" cycle begins between two when they seek outside validation and get advice from people who are not within the connection. It gets confusing and muddles the line. Usually leading to a dynamic that can be toxic.. From my perspective.. a mutual Weirdness Agreement clause should be drawn from the beginning..

People play to many games. Let him state his case and let her state hers and take it from there. If two people care about each other come together and move on from there and make it work. Some men like to chase. I have been told men don't want what they can easily have. Are you speaking from your point of view? All men are not the same. The reward for both parties should be solidifying the relationship.
Absolutely it has to be a mutual effort, as women if I am interested in a guy there is no way he’ll Im gonna sit back and let him do all the chasing, and I will never chase a guy who is interested in me, it has to be a push and pull situation and that’s how you know it’s a start of a healthy relationship with both party’s strong desire for each other.

TWO people can do that. But not having calculated, that there may be 3rd parties (work/ people/ a.s.o) involved, sadly it appears a whole different cookie. What to do when you (as a woman) put in the effort but get to learn time and time again it's not appropriate? What to do besides feeling hurt intensely? When being a priority, the other would put in the effort to react cordially, asap ánd mutually. But nót being a priority, then you'll know where you stand - let's say eventually - wouldn't you say? Has this male clear that the signals given off are of a sheer pushing effect or warding off? I bet he does. Now, that's not chasing dynamics anymore, that's punishing dynamics, control dynamics often quite much influenced by so called friends or so, by being again in (utter) control. What the base for that is, is for another time perhaps. But, may it be clear that the naturalness has fled, worn out or gone out. Formerly, i have kept lectures on these unsatisfying balancing dynamics. They listened for once, or twice. Maybe more. Or, worse, even never listened. Latter is not a joke, i tell you. Then, when told from a woman's point of view, that enough is enough, they run. Again. And immediately too.Passive agressively. Amongst all other (non - obvious) forms of ghosting, gaslighting and so on. Yet again, continuing other forms or breadcrumbing. No royalness of any kind, no generosity whatsoever. All calculated. Well oh well. I left these toxic games some time ago. I accepted their dynamics of "They can have their cake, and eat it too" for too long. Alas, nót in my backyard anymore. I am not to be found in these or their playgrounds anymore. Nor am i doing this EXTRA effort, as in more than i already did. I was always in. Cause i was always there. But, since the entire world has "perceived" what might have happened and their lives hungers for exitement or whatever, wait and just see what happens when is concluded that I AM OUT.
