What's interesting is how good the visual design is in some older games... because even though this game looks good... I feel like the uplift in visuals in nowhere near proportional to the performance cost.
Game is using lumen, that's why majority of GPU's can't handle it, because majority of GPU's aren't just good enough to run games with ray tracing. Try running Cyberpunk 2077 with RT preset and you'll see how it runs just as bad as this. And Cyberpunk is well optimized game already.
@@ugurinanc5177 bro thinks a 1650 couldn't run this dogshit? brother let me tell u, if dayz can be ran on it, anything can. its just the dogshit game, and u know that. lol
@@lancebermejo3319there’s a difference between demanding and unoptimised Alan wake is a good example it’s demanding but very polished this game has aggressive stuttering even on high end gpus maybe when the final version launches it will be better since this is a early version of the game
no, it's badly coded, the reason for performance issues are memory leaks. but also, if you're trying to play a game released in 2024 on a system that runs on 5+ year old hardware that was considered low to mid-range when it released then it's completely your fault, especially when the game is open world and has high fidelty graphics
It's not really that it requires an Arc 770 or a RX 5700 which are modernish midrange gpus. It's just insane. It seems according to the reviews you need fsr frame gen which is wild.
Just a heads up Kryzp, the arm model is a very common way to hold battle rifles. If you notice, he's gripping the handguard all around it, using his arm to pull the rifle tight to his shoulder. Very common way to hold a rifle in tactical situations IRL. Many gamers prefer to see the more limp grip model we typically see, but this one is more realistic to the situation.
What a joy! With WAY better hardware we can play games in 2024 that look way worse than OG Crysis. Still a great video! No one else does tests like this in the latest games and make it fun to watch.
Thank god i watched this video before buying the game. i wasn't sure if it was gonna be good or a Powerpoint. Keep up the good work Kryzzp love the videos
Just a question. Did the devs ever mention "We designed the game with upscaling in mind." like the other game if you know what I mean. *cough* Remnant 2 *cough*
UE5 has one of the most consistent portfolios of bloated and unoptimized games, and yet devs are still using it, and people are still saying, "i want them to use UE5" At this point, it's just being praised because it's got 5 instead of 4.
If the finals can run like 6 times better than this with same engine i dont think UE5 is the issues here , i know the finals map is smaller than this but it should not cost 600% perfromance
@@Jakiyyyyy1650 user can upgrade to a new gpu or buy a ps5 is very simple 4gb vram gpu are basically dead this day with rx 500 series a rtx 3050 8gb/6600 non xt should be the standard at pc gaming this days and high end rtx 3080/4070 ti super
If a game isn't even remotely optimized no one should buy it, a lot of these games do not deserve our money but to each their own. Would never buy a pos unoptimized garbage like this that's minimum GPU is a GTX 1080 or a rx 5700...thats NUTS.
How did you not crash while recording lmao, I have a 1660 super, my cpu is not bothered at all but my GPU keeps crashing due to VRAM overload (on lowest settings)
@@Trick-Framed I mean it is a good looking game dont get me wrong, but to me it just looks like another basic UE5 shooter game with generic graphics and no unique art style
Currently I mainly game on an Asus ZenBook duo 14 with an i7 1195G7, 16GB RAM and a GeForce MX450! Obviously it doesn't have good performance in newer games, but I like to play indies most of the time, like Slay The Spire, Darkest Dungeon, Manor Lords recently, and some age of empires 3. It works well for those games and I like the second screen for watching videos at the same time! Whenever I want to play something intensive I'll do it on the desktop with the 4080S!
@@Jakiyyyyy When I encounter comments like this, I usually ignore them because people often misunderstand others' situations. Instead of writing a lengthy response, I'll simply say this: I live in Namibia, Africa, where PC parts are incredibly expensive, and used parts are even pricier. I'm in my final year of school, trying to boost my grades before starting college next year. I can't work due to school, stress, and family commitments. The only way I can earn money is by occasionally working as an IT guy at my dad's office or selling my PS5/PS4 games. I plan to upgrade, hopefully by the end of May, after selling my laptop to a family member. The money from the laptop sale will fund the building of a desktop, equipped with an RX 7600 (Non XT) and Ryzen 5 4500G, for both college and gaming. I aim to create a productive workstation for school that also provides gaming performance similar to a PS5 since I'll be studying Cyber Security and Computer Science next year. To fund some components, I've already sold my PS5 copies of WRC and Star Wars: Jedi Fallen Order, as well as my PS4 copies of Ghost of Tsushima and Cyberpunk 2077. My family member plans to buy the laptop by the end of May, and I've already purchased a 512GB SATA SSD and a single 16GB RAM stick. Unfortunately, I can't afford dual-channel due to prices in my country, so there's no turning back for me.
@@Jakiyyyyy When I say ‘’depressing’’, I mean it’s sad to see the GTX 1650 struggle in modern titles not because of optimization, but because it’s the most commonly used GPU for people in third world countries. If the card is struggling in modern titles, getting 40 or sub 30 fps in games like Horizon FW, Helldivers, Alan Wake, Dead Space without UPSCALING…then it’s an indication that the card is reaching its end. When the GTX 1650 first came out, the problem wasn’t the performance but the price. It was a solid GPU that could play any last-gen game (Xbox One or PS4) at amazing framerates. But the time for last gen has passed and the GTX 1650 won’t be able to survive for much longer despite so many budget gamers using it…they won’t have the money to upgrade it, due to them using a GTX 1650 laptop or parts being expensive. Most 3050 or 1650 owners are laptop users, not desktop users…so for them to upgrade, it’s extremely expensive depending on where they are…that’s why I find this entire situation sad
not every game has to be focus on low end hardwares. I actually suprised how well this game runs with RTX 4080 super. 45-50FPS in 4K DLAA with all unreal engine 5 benefits is crazy
Arthur Morgan in 2024 if we did Greet, Antagonize, Antagonize : "You can play Gray Zone Warfare on a GTX 1650" "in 720p" "with Minecraft graphics in low setting"
Hey ! imagine playing rdr 2 with 1080p low settings(ultra textures) with 30+ fps all of the time with "GT1030" yes its possible with fsr 3 frame generation mod ! fsr 3 frame generation makes some games possible to run in gt1030 ex marvel's spiderman, rdr 2
I'm having a mixed relationship with my 4070ti lmao...I love it (performance, features and productivity) and I hate it (my whole damn wallet is now a black hole)... love hate relationship with my GPU rn.
The 1650 GDDR6 version is an OK card. The game in my opinion is where the real problem lies. It should be playable at 30FPS at 1080p Lowest Settings...
Wow kryzzp I’m assuming you already recorded the next vid but after that video can you test this game on minimum and recommend specs with the recommended nvidia GPUs please? It looks like a fun game and also please test my favorite card the 4070 super in this game when you get the chance I’m not going to be annoying about it or anything…. Love your content❤❤❤
I hope they make it atleast playable on 3070ti without framegen and dlss/fsr but this game needs allot of work before i even consider buying, but the gameplay being extraction shooter/looter in a full map with 3 factions is dope so i hope the best for this game.
Performance is as expected since this game is competing with Tarkov, also it being in Early Access makes it worse but overall, decent game with huge potential if done right...I'm using RTX 4070ti / R75800X3D, using Custom settings, mostly on high at 1440p DLSS Quality, capped at 60fps (uncapped hovers around 80fps), it's playable but that is like playable demo's fps.
I played with an Intel iGPU for a week to help me get used to 10-15fps helps a lot prepping for these modern titles 😂 and if your wondering it’s the i3 10th gen uhd 630 graphics on one of my old PCs (not that old)
I jist upgraded from a gtx 1650 laptop to a 4060 TI desktop. In my experience the gtx 1650 can run games somewhat decently but theres not a lot of power or speed there. Theres decent
Use global illumination possibly to have climate change in real time, it's worth it, what a time when Cryisys put us on the ropes and no one complained
Stop capping. Remnant 2 is runnable now with tons of patches and updates. The real problem with unoptimized games are that they get abandoned by the dev after release. Given that the game is still in early access, it's not confirmed to be fixed, but the light of hope. If nothing changed once full release, just know that they been misused early access for excuses. The game should have a demo or somewhat playtest like those indie titles. 🙂
I think the gpu manufacturers pay game designers to make them unoptimised and need more power. So youl buy a newer card. There are some older games that look as good and run fine on the lower power cards.
We fully understand that its in early access, however, I had a really really bad experience. Rubberbanding everywhere even on correct server, 1440p med settings 40fps on an rtx3070ti(recommended gpu for this game btw). It needs a hell lot of optimization, the game looks decent I would say, its not on the top, lets say like Alan wake 2. They should have taken atleast a month extra for polishing the game.
Is anyone really surprised by this? Game sounded decent from what was said but when gameplay was shown I already knew to stay away from it. Heck as soon as my friend was hyped for it I knew to stay away from it.
"there's nothing you do to make playable unless you find 30 FPS playable at 360p" Well people love Mario 64 and that was a shaky 30 fps (barely) at 240p sooo.... ¯\(°_o)/¯
Hey Kryzzp, please can you test 25 fps lock in 2024,in many games at 50 hz Vsync enabled through control panel triple buffering and low latency mode to on? All those set to on,im curious what would you think i play like this at 4k in many games! make custom resolution or some custom resolutions at 50 hz and set for each game through nvidia control panel these 3 settings i usually do this play at 25 fps at 4k Cyberpunk 2077 and Forza 5,Bus simulator, the Bus etc😊Enjoy!!❤❤ P.S You know i like playing at cinematic 25 fps if you remember hahah :D
@@zWORMzGaming Yes,to make it more cinematic ,i use it from time to time,to make it like a movie,it doesnt bother me :D you can use it on the games if you like,But i dont mind playing without it at all :D P.S Make sure you do all the settings i mentioned in nvidia control panel :D 1.Custom resolutions at 50 hz 2.Vsync enable for specific games only from control panel,3.Triple buffering for specific games,4.Low latency mode for lower input lag for specific games, altho i dont notice any input lag but for those that do you can enable that too.Set all these to ON.What i mean by specific i mean not the global tab in nvidia control panel the one on the right i forgot what its called xD :D Have fun making the video
gpus are fine test cpus i would love a ryzen 5 1600 or 2600 benchmark just to see if you need a insane gpu or cpu to play this game like you can run red dead with a bottlenecked pc just fine
could not run GZW even with a 4070 with 552.22 went and rolled back to the driver that they say has issues.. its from early April.. like 552.12 i think.. Now the game runs amazing at 120 plus fps with dlss on quality
