In rank X, when everyone is dead and there is a squid beacon, nobody jumps to it yet when I am next to a beacon, they suddenly realize that beacons exist and jump to it instead of me
because it is more likely you will survive with your team than going to a beacon alone. and when you all die you need to regroup and its risky to just use a beacon.
So if in rank X a dynamo roller dominates at splat zones they are unskilled/ carried by their weapon, but if a splatterscope carries their team they deserve all the praise? Also no weapon in this game is overpowered, as whilst some weapons obviously have a good advantage over the others (rapid blaster, forge pro, custom squelcher), many of the "overpowered" weapons that people whine about like octobrush and clash blaster can be adapted to and countered fairly easily. The only weapon that has been arguably overpowered in the pre-patch tri slosher before the special gauge nerf in the first ever patch, which was clearly shown through high level teams consisting of at least 2 tri sloshers, and sometimes even 4. If the rollers are so easy to use and win with, and require little effort to play with, as you said, then why are many teams not using rollers, and only one roller, the vanilla splat roller, appearing at tournaments?
The irony is that in your last match if you had used more beacons on the tower at that 13 push your teammates might’ve gotten to you quicker 😅 great vid though!
I am rank X in all modes, and from *my experience* , nobody uses beakons, most people jump to teammates... Also, you don't see many weapons that have beakons as a sub in rank X...from *my experience*
Here’s another poem for you guys. Etce is our boi He’s a joy to watch him play Every single day Using squid beacons He always is seekin He gets in a 1v1 He loses a ton But it’s ok Your mom gay
Wanna hear the best tip ever? If the enemy is giving you a hard time, ink the ground around you. If you have control of the turf, it's more difficult to enemies to move around, and easier for you to move around and splat them.
The way I see it if it's a large map like Arowanna Mall or Moray Towers then your teammates will most likely use the beacons but in smaller maps they'll probably ignore them
I was in awe of how this could happen, how there were two people at once, and how they both panic-splashdowned at the same time. It was an event that left me speechless until it was too late. Like a truck crashing into your living room.
Nintendo should make the beacons more useful by having sensed enemies not just show up on the map but have a pointed sensor effect. Sensed enemies won’t know they’re being tracked.
Etce I played with you in clam blitz and you just made my day!!! I sent u a friend request my switch username is cap’n, I’ve been a subscriber and huge fan of urs since splatoon 1, I just can’t even put in words how happy I was to play with u!!!
I encourage them in Clam Blitz. I don't use them if; (1) I can swim, (2) I get splatted once by jumping to one of them, (3) if it seems like the guy with the beakons wants them for himself (?)
