Brellas usually run out of ink because when you block attacks with brella it also consumes ink. The more damage you block with it the more ink it will consume. Thus ink saver main is essential for brellas. (especially splat brella and sorella brella) Another gear ability that could improve the using experiences is run speed up. Since it takes time to open the shield, the enemy could attack you when you are attempting to open it, especially for those weapons with higher fire rate. A main(and more) run speed up can help your positioning during firefight, you can keep adjusting your position and watch the enemy’s move, and that can sharply improve the win rate of brella in fire fights. :) Sincerely, a hero brella replica main

get some ink saver and run speed on that BOY also if you need to run away you can hold your shield out and walk backwards, the shield will ink your feet so you don't get stuck
I think with brellas you should get lots of ink saver (main) and ink recovery up on your gear. It helps a lot with the shots, and ink saver (sub) can help with autobombs? I dunno thought i main carbon rollers and chargers
PasteurizedPika79 I don't use Autobombs too much, so I just like ink main and ink recovery. Autobombs are real ink-drainers on an already ink-hungry weapon.
Ink Recovery Up is definitely the highlight for any Brella weapon. You want to recharge and swim to open the Brella constantly. I hardly ever use Ink Saver (Main) since opening the Brella consumes a lot anyway, but if you want to shoot at squids this is alright to have. Splat Brella is highly recommended for turfing and using Last Resort combine with Ink Recovery Up is so good. You can open it infinitely and play mind games all day!
What are you talking about? Ranked mode is the best place to learn a new weapon. Sure you may rank down at the beginning, but later on you decimate with your newfound proficiency.
The-One-And-Only Still, it's even better if you get some practice in turf war before you jump into ranked. For example, I've seen a lot of people (both on my team and on the enemy team) go into ranked with a charger - which they had probably never played with before - and get about 0-3 kills. It feels bad both as a teammate and as the enemy because it practically makes it a 3v4. (PS: I mean, Etce is pretty good with the Sorella Brelly here, but there are a lot of people out there who aren't :/)
Honestly, the Sorella Brella is my go-to for Tower Control. Especially because a point-blank shot + a poke from the Brella's shield is a kill. That combo really only works for TC, since you're always fighting over an extremely cramped space.

That's why I usually end up getting carried in Salmon Run whenever they pop up. I generally try to run Dualies with some combo of Phantom Jump, Quick Respawn and Special Charge Up

I do best with the Vanilla Brella in Splat Zones, specifically. It's Sprinkler allows us to keep the turf constantly painted to cover any attacks, and the Inkstorm special can easily take control of the zone, or be thrown into wherever they're coming from to weaken them. Overall, a great choice of weapon.
I have a challenge 1. Use a weapon of your choice that have curling bombs 2. Use all range up abilities 3. You can only use curling bombs in ranked battle
