He was amazing 40 electrical engineer we practically have everything in common even our b-day is 5 days apart. Talk everyday dates three days of every week for three months. One month he was in Malaysia in business. I mean I thought at first he was insecure because of his man parts. Because when I saw it my first thought was “ where’s the rest of it? “ 🤭😂 I gave it a little encouragement, and what do you know...!!! Great conversation, great chemistry, decent sex ok no problem. Two weeks before new year as we are hitting the 4 month mark he start acting weird. honestly think mine left me out of self sabotage...our relationship was crazy and we fought a lot, i tried to leave multiple times but he would beg and plead. once i started really working on myself and started talking things through instead of fighting, he began telling me stuff like "i think im truly falling for you", "ive just realised how in love with you i am", etc. a WEEK after he started telling me all this stuff he left me, then got back with me the same day and then left me AGAIN (for good) a week after... so my best guess was self sabotage...maybe he only felt like he could stay with me when things were bad because he didnt feel like he was deserving of a good relationship :/

i broke up with my boyfriend because he neglected me, ignored me, never initiated anything....took me for granted in all ways. i am in no contact right now and i feel that this time and space.....will help him realize how he treated me and how much he loves me. I'll be honest, I chased him called him all the time, and at later on.....I stopped....I only texted once a day....then every other day, then it went to me not contacting for days.....i thought that would help but he was expecting me to always reach out. Now, I dont contact him at all. Its only been 12 days but I do hope he will take this time to reflect and see that I just want him to treat me the way im supposed to be treated. i know he loves me but now he has to step up and do whats right.

We had a 'good' break-up, for as far that's possible with a break-up. It was dramatic, in the sense that is was so sad for both parties, but no arguments. He basically was just in a quarterlife crisis, lol. I reached out in october, after 4 months of NC. I honestly wanted to know how he was doing. He was receptive, we had a casual and nice conversation, he told me more about him than I was expecting he would. Then, all of a sudden, he stopped answering me (I asked a simple question, something about his health), and that was it. I didn't understand, but I left it like that. I saw him a few weeks ago unplanned, we crossed paths at a bar. We were forced to sit together with a mutual friend of us. I was with a friend of mine, who he started talking with. I listened, joined the conversation a bit but that was it. He hasn't reached out to me once. In a month it will be his birthday. I used to make the most extreme and creative presents for him. This year, I won't even say a word I decided. I feel like there is nothing left for me to say to him at this point. He only gives me silence, for whatever reason that may be. Somehow I find it rude that a person can't even ask once, out of his own intention, how I am doing, after 5 years of being together (and not to mention after all the shit I've done for him while he had times of depression and isolation). Always been his best friend. But if that's how it's gonna be, that's how it's gonna be. I'm not forcing my way into someone's life. I'm still sad, but the pain will fade. I sincerely want to know how he is really doing, and how he is really feeling now, but I am not going to ask. There are so many questions I have, many things I am wondering about, but actions will always speak louder than words, and as long as I don't hear a beep from him... I guess that will say enough.

After two weeks separated, we had a very touching conversation where the ex told me how much he appreciated all that I did for him. The last message was how he wants me to be happy and move on. Then told me he did and still does love me for everything I am (first time saying I love you). Thank you for helping me see the psychology behind the avoidant and the need for time and space. I’ve been in the same situation. My husband left me and our 1 year old daughter. After 8 months of no contact. Except something about our daughter. He reached out again and initiated that he want to come back in my life. Then after few weeks later we had a small misunderstanding but for him it’s like his done. He said he hated me and doesn’t like my attitude( because I always check on him and asking him when he can give time for us) his always busy and never get time to spend quality time with family. When he come back to me he said he realize he still love me and want our family back but again he did the same thing like before running away from the situation we’re in rather than resolving the issue between us and our marriage. If you have asked her 2 different times about meeting up and she refuses, I wouldn't bring it up again. Let her suggest meeting up. If you keep mentioning it you start to look needy and weak. I would simply go back into no contact then if she knows you aren't interested in being friends...
Tell her you're not interested in being friends with her but if she's open to a date or casually hanging out/hooking up/having fun then do it. If she can't agree to those terms - walk away and block and go NC.
Iam very sadd to see my ex in a rebound clonening my relationship, places, necklace, resturants etc. even the look of him. I know she regret it but i can have her back when she slept with another! Since the breakup I’ve made many changes to life for the better. I volunteer, I’ve lost a lot of weight that I gained during the relationship, I’ve been able to hold onto one of the best job opportunities that I’ve ever had and I go out and enjoy myself a lot more than I used too. I have noticed that my ex’s cousin is always one of the first people to view my stories. Is that something I shouldn’t overthink or should I consider that I have her attention again?

I was with my boyfriend for a year and our relationship has been going really well he has a daughter from an ex-girlfriend that broke up with him due to his drinking. She did not give her daughter his last name and did not allow him to see her he has been sober for over a year and a half in which we have met. As soon as she saw that he was in a relationship she started contacting him and allowing him to go two birthday parties Etc she also had a boyfriend but he broke up with her and then she was asking him to hang out with her and do things that seemed inappropriate for them because it wasn't about their daughter. He told her no because he had a girlfriend and she just keep pursuing harder. I would tell him that I felt bad because I did want him to be able to build a relationship with his child. he asked her if he could get her for it a couple hours and she said that she didn't feel comfortable with her daughter riding with me cuz she didn't know me. then he asked if it would be okay if his parents picked her up and she said that she doesn't allow her to ride with anybody but her and her mother. to make a long story short she wanted to be able to spend time with him and that was her excuse. we had a wonderful weekend and then that Tuesday he called me told me he miss me and then he called me at 12 saying he needed to just here my voice. at 3 he called me and told me that he felt like we needed to break up because she wants him to do a lot of things with her and her daughter and it was just going to cause problems with us. Within the week their status was in a relationship. I just feel so heartbroken and lied to he always reassured me that he would never get back together with her and I believed him because he always did seem to pick me. just really hurt any advice

I know that my love that was given to her was a real love she never had to fight for or experienced before in her life. Yes I'm her first lesbian relationship, but there was no motive on my part to pretend to feel this love with both had for each other. It was a mutual feeling of comfort, I couldn't control my anxiety or understand why I was sabotaging the love of my life. She never had a great upbringing either so her attachment style is avoidance and mines more abandonment/ seperation anxiety yes coming from my childhood and other traumas along the lifespan.

My wife divorced me unexpectedly. She shut me out her life and acted like someone I never knew. I tried to save the marriage but she said it was too late. We spoke with a Pastor and instead of trying to work things out, she tried to justify herself for the divorce and said I'd be happier with someone else. The Pastor looked at her like she lost her mind. We work together but because of the Covid, we work different days and I dont see her. She puts my mail in my locker. The divorced finalized last week and after I went No Contact. I recently got an apartment but I never gave her my address. She texted me out the blue asking me for my address to send me my mail. I didnt reply and found it strange why because she could just keep putting it in my locker even I put in a change of address so no mail should go to her home...what do you thinks going on?

What if, when I tried to tell them I would like planned time together and they say you can show up for dinner and if that’s not enough for you, I don’t know what to tell you?! I’m just so heart broken that my ex would make me feel that I was asking too much by me wanting planned quality time rather always wondering when he is going to want to spend time with me. I wouldn’t recommend it. She might not give you any answer at all, leaving you even more confused and definitely hanging on for another 6 months or even a year. Ask a few girls on a date. LyrasRaven Cold feet. She was about to move here from Canada and at the last minute, she got scared and wanted to skate another season. I told her that it would be hard to maintain an ldr and she decided to break up with me. She’s a figure skater. I live in Colorado and she lives in Calgary. We saw each other a lot over the course of two years (at least once a month) and I flew her to so many places, Cancun, Vegas, Seattle, Colorado as well as making 5-6 trips to Canada. My ex was insecure about her body, even tho I told her regularly I loved her and it, we did things together we had never done before little things, like like rhe smell of each other even when sweating lol. Hi bro. I've been on your shoes also. My ex uses break up as a tool to shut me up every time we argue on small things. It's a manipulative behavior. It's a toxic kind of relationship and Craig helped me to realized that. Better look for a good partner who knows how to handle a relationship in a mature way.
If she walks away once then evaluate and if she comes back make a decision. Twice then you need to seriously consider your situation and whether it's healthy. Three times well just don't go there. They are/were playing with you. And even if in their mind they're not trust me man up strap up your heart and move on to someone who gives you what you clearly want and looking for.
