I‘m rooting so much for this game to do well. There is nothing worse for an online sports game than having not enough players. It’s in a tricky position where it targets HP fans that are also gamers so i hope the demographic is big enough
Indeed I myself am definitely a Harry Potter lover and gamer so il definitely be playing the game and uploading gameplay so hopefully this’ll get more people in to enjoy the beauty of quidditch
Yeah the target audience imo aren't really sports game players. So hopefully it's so Harry Potter, that it turns them into sport's player. Well see bc you need a big player base

Just to remind myself of playing the quidditch game before the release I decided to play some Quidditch World Cup game until the release of QC It's not exactly like the upcoming game (though I still hope for cool animations from combos in QWC), It's still a warmup before the action =)

I just pre ordered today. It's the only game I've ever pre ordered. I hope I'm not disappointed, as a big HP fan. If it's not, no biggie. I've spent $30 on worse things, lol.

I will be very honest, I purchased the deluxe edition of the game. I love the game, but my concerns about it are very barebones. If i were the developers, I would introduce what EA did with their World Cup, like Super Shots, Super Block, Combo Passes, through passes, and other mechanics that could give more unique ways of playing. The seekers have special pushes that can knock the opposing seeker to edges of the stadiums.
@AwesomeRandomVids Yes, there is, but they do not change how the game fundamentally plays. Goalies have super blocks to block super shots from Chasers. Chasers have combo passes like 1-2 passes, through passes, and super shots, which abilities all use one meter, so you need to make more meticulous decisions. All roles have special abilities, and the balance is using one meter for everything.
Great video, as usual! I appreciate the info. I'm going to pass on this game. For several reasons: 1. WB's treatment of players, there's not a lot of trust there. 2. This game doesn't seem like it would fit for me. I'm not a Fortnite or Rocket League type player. This game play looks very similar. Honestly, I feel like this game is a few years too late. Quidditch should have been included in Legacy. It's FEELS so obvious it's missing.
I'm most excited for Career mode so that i can make my Wizarding World Ocs and lead them to the house cups and represent their nations for the world cup
The PlayStation app had me all excited 😂. It’s showing 9/02/24. PlayStation lied to me 😂. Either way I’m excited for this. Can’t wait to see whether im a good chaser, seeker, beater or keeper.

Totally, I've been through it Harry Potter: Wizards Unite, now Harry Potter: Magic Awakened. So that's a fair statement and I'm cautious to get as excited but I'll still try it for free on PS and see how it plays

I'm passing on this game, I'm just not feeling the magic flow from this game as it feels like it is just something that was picked up and done to fill a gap to get us to spend money on something that should be a free game because of what PlayStation has done to a number of countries by blocking them from playing another game or they aren't allowed to have a PSN ID in their area
MAC USERS: There's a chance (unless it's already been implemented) for this game to have anti cheat, so if you're using something like Crossover, then you won't be able to play it.
Yes, and yes, lol. I know, it's weird. PS players get the Standard Edition and the Preorder Broom with PS Plus...or...you can pay for the Deluxe Edition without the Preorder Broom. But both options require you to wait till September 3rd
@XpectoGO I thought they confirmed it will be 6v6. I just hide it's shared xp. The keeper and seeker will have so much idle time. And I think a lot of people will favor the beater. Beater is OP. and I'm curious if the beaters just favor the same strategy of targeting the same positions. Or if they just fight 1v1 before going after others.

Making the game need online for singleplayer career mode is bs. Stop forcing online in games where it doesn't belong! Give us an offline mode! Maybe if it was free to play then fine. Buy it's not. this is a full priced game. Even getting a physical copy. Stupid design choice!!😡
man until today I didn't know a single person actually cared this game was coming out. Hogwarts Legacy was amazing but this looks like absolute dogwater. Gameplay looks like boring quicktime events
I get it, I too would've preferred a HL looking Quidditch game. But this is just like Quidditch World Cup, a QWC 2.0 and the look, style, and vibe I'm here for. Just hope it's good
@@thegoldentench378 My issue with the game is that they’re fundamentally changing the rules of the game especially with the Golden Snitch. I can see their reasoning, but then it’s not Quidditch anymore.
