@@pxsaber2177 I found the same issue. Everything returned REALLY HOT. Including the battery and the board. It flies quickly and efficiently on 1S, I am going to stick to it as well. 2S is overkill for something this light, but I am happy that the option is there...
Found it pretty interesting that my new TinyHawk S bound right up to my Taranis that I also use for the original TinyHawk S. I didn't have to bind! It just worked. LOL
Separate issue. You definitely want to look at that in Betaflight, though. I usually set expo to zero on mine, and rate high enough to get a couple of full 360s per second or so, at the high end, then do my expos etc from the Tx end. To each their own. But it definitely makes a difference.
Erkan Erdogan - You do need to change both, profile and rate to the same number. 1=1s lipo and 2=2s lipo. All this can be done within the OSD via your goggles!
I have had mine on rate-profile 1 all the time with no problems. But like I said, I change mine to a flat rate and super-rate, then do that stuff from the Tx side. If you don't want to tune them yourself, matching Rate-profiles with PID-profiles with Battery-size probably is the safest route. And definitely make sure you switch them when you go to 2S. I've forgotten a couple of times each way. 1S on PID-profile-2: Didn't notice 'til afterward. "Oops. Forgot to do that. Oh well." 2S on PID-profile-1: Quad tried to fly to the moon. "AAAAAAGH!!!" (disarm; quad falls from 20 feet and breaks a prop)
I've found the issue with dropouts is radio firmware dependant, my x-lite with latest firmware has dropouts in d16 but my x9d plus SE with earlier firmware has no issues including with telemetry on.
Did any1 have issues flying with the 2S battery? Most of the time I can't arm it, though I put it to profile 2. Also what PID are you guys using? Default PID settings doesn't seem to be good enough
Great job boys the emax tinyhawk 2s seems to be a great whoop style quad, can it support a 2s 450mah battery or is it to heavy, keep up the great work, what about a speed test on the emax tinyhawk 1s and 2s? 👍😀
So blue flashing it's bound IAM new n trying to bind this to the beta 2se transmitter n set up on android not having any luck,,can I just send to you guys n have you configure for me
I bought my tinyhawk s 2 weeks ago and I didn't manage to bind in d16 but only in d8 mode although I put it on frsky_x in betaflight... I did the exact thing you did in the video and the only difference is that I have the qx7 and not the qx7s transmitter... is that a problem? PLS HELP
D8 - A communication protocol in older D-series FrSky radios with 8 channels and telemetry but otherwise missing the expanded feature set of newer X-series radios. D16 - A communication protocol in newer X-series FrSky radios offering up to 32 channels, telemetry, S-Port support, unique receiver coordination, and others. (Open TX University)
Hi recently purchased the tiny hawk s tried binding in d16 and everything was ok when i tried to set aux switches throttle and roll became reversed. I tried resetting it to d8 and it still has it reversed. Any suggestions on how to fix it. Thanks for whatever suggestions you have. Been flying fpv for a year or so but i have had a friend handle the beta flight and hes to busy so I guess im close to a noob with the betaflight.
Just so you know you don't have to take the back off to push on the bind button just fine the bind button and push down on the back plastic you can feel it click without taking the back off
I need help with this quad (actually the Tinyhawk 2)! I am stuck, I got one version to give me sticks but no toggles (x-lite s). Did you flash the firmware as the manual? I have and it does not work properly! I mapped in BF and in the controller, but NO switched no matter the firmware.... WAH!! (This is on 2 different TH-2's)
I'm sorry, but the first version is way faster on 1s than this one and the 2 hawk..they just pulled my chain to get me to buy the 2 Version..but I love the new racer
Hi, It looks like you have a Tinyhawk S with the old FC intended for the original TInyhawk. This should not be bindable in D16. Did you replace it or do you have two Tinyhawk S? The old one you have: emaxmodel.com/aio-flight-controller-vtx-receiver.html The correct one: emaxmodel.com/emax-tinyhawk-s-indoor-drone-part-aio-flight-controller-vtx-receiver.html You can easily see the difference on the motor connections, lying down and standing up. Thanks!
So I have a d9x and it’s binding with the THs. Sticks show up and work as well as one switch in betaflight but after saving and disconnecting it won’t operate the drone. I know this is an older video. But hoping for help. Thank.
I replaced my flight controller in my Eachine Aurora 100 with FlySky receiver. My flight controller LED light comes on and my receiver LED light goes solid when I turn on the remote transmitter to show I am connected. When I hit the throttle my motors don't spin. I don't know how to set up my FC and I am using the speedy bee app on my Samsung tablet. The flight controller is not communicating with betaflight. Any help will greatly appreciated. Thanks for video. Keep it in the air brothers
I have a Aurora 100 with flysky receiver. I replaced the receiver and flight controller with original parts. My flight controller Powers up and my receiver LED light goes solid when remote transmitter is turned on to indicate connection but when arm switch is ingauged I don't hear a beep to indicate that it is armed and when I move the sticks motors don't spin. I know it has to be something in the settings. This is my first time experiencing this and still is new to the hobby. If I would have to ship it to someone to work this issue out could I send it to you all? Do you all offer those kind of services or can you direct me to who do? Thanks
thanks , good to know! in the manual you can´t find something about this.. also the screws of the motors where not tight on my newly bought th2,. i lost a resistor because of this.. and tried to fixed it .. works fine on 1s but not on 2s
I am completely new to drones. If I were to purchase the TinyHawk S with the Frsky Taransis controller and Fatshark V3 Recon goggles...would I be good to go for flying? As in would it all sync up and work? Or am I missing something parts/connectors whatever? And secondly, if I then wanted to upgrade to the Hawk freestyle down the road could I use the Taransis controller still? Or would I need to buy a whole new controller? Thanks !
Sounds great got it ordered! Any suggestions for a proper charger? I looked at some online and well I was lost. 10$-180$. I would say once I get comfortable with the TinyHawk I’d like to move up to a 3S or 4S drone. Do they make combo chargers for different size batteries? One site mentioned it takes about 45-60min to charge a battery is this true?
Redshark 900 yes, the isdt q6 pro with a paralellboard that supports 1s will take you a long way and it’s a mid priced charger with all the functions you need. It’s one of the most popular on the market. You will need a power supply from an old laptop or anything else that gives 7-30V DC is the cheapest. You should look into charging on RU-vid. It can be catastrophic if you do it wrong. Some set their house on fire. To put it simple is that most batteries take 45-60 min. Mine are done in 10-15 min. But it is more dangerous and you should really read or look up the do and don’ts. And the batteries gets worn out faster if you change them faster.
Great job fellas, thank you for the fast shipment of my Diatone GT R349 frame kit and the Runcam tx 200 vtx, hope to meet you one day...cheers!🖐️😎👍Michael A, ATL.
