You have inspired me to pick up the book, I think I've seen it mentioned a couple times but had never given it much thought. As someone who has also moved away from watching the news and politics in recent years, I find your last comments very interesting, especially the idea that the terms of "left" and "right" might not serve us anymore going forward. That felt like a light turning on and, I have to say, I do agree with it. It can be difficult sometimes to see the value in a political binary when so many matters are often complex and nuanced. Perhaps we need to think less about how different ideas fit into party politics, and more simply see things as an array of ideas that can help us find decent solutions to problems.
