Former nice girl and people pleaser - Not caring about others feelings is the best thing to ever happen to me! They really don't like it either. They are so used to everyone catering to their wants and feelings and are shocked that you don't. They don't know how to react. They will tell you that you are mean and go away to find somebody else to latch onto. Your circle is small, but better than ever

Yes that’s my goal as well, I’ve been called selfish, wait the dude said, “You are the most selfish person I’ve met in my life”, now couple of years I would’ve been upset about the comment but now I don’t care. That’s a good thing to me, I’m leveling up slowly but surely. 2019 was the year I realized that people were 100% getting over on me for a long time because I was a people pleaser and they took advantage. I couldn't stand it when people got "mad" at me and I would run to try and correct it. 2019 was the year I walked from anyone who got "mad" at me or talked shit on me. I walked! You are a 1000% correct when you say they don't know how to react... they cannot believe it. They got madder, some caved and tried to get me back... didn't make me come back.
