Do you NEED to wax a new snowboard?

@@Simonjburgess Depends where I go,I always find out where the service shops are and email/ring them and ask if they machine or hand wax.If it's the lather I don't bring my service kit.

Sweet, what new board did you get? No not given up. I'm filming some videos with GoPro and some on Insta... depends on what I am doing. Still trying to find the right balance.

@@Simonjburgess I went with the well known Burton Custom, nothing too exciting… although I got last seasons board which is really why I was thinking should I wax it 🤔 glad to hear you’re still using the insta, I got mine around Christmas and first trip with it is in 2 weeks so hoping it’s as good as I’m hoping it will be 👍🏼

Artificial snow or dry slope? If dry slope id be tempted to use a rental board. But yes I’d get it waxed before leaving for your trip. What board you riding? And were you going on your trip?
