I don’t know how rules are elsewhere, but in Norway it is sold as A2-35kW or A3-70kW. There is a sticker on the right side on the frame below the fuel tank with dB measurements for A2 and A3, VIN number and codes the government can look up. So the bike is allowed to be registrated for limited or full effect. Instead of getting it derestricted by a cornershop, I went to a certified Honda dealer who made it normal full effect, then I showed the bike to government with papers from the same Honda dealer to get it registrated with full effect, and finally my insurance company. I have full warranty and it is insured correctly in case anything bad happens. And the price wasn't bad, I did it together with a 12000km service.

Hey mate, thanks for the video! I did this in Dubai, but the garage did a horrible job. First they flashed the ECU without changing the air manifolds, thus I got no increase in power and the bike overheated a lot. I took it back and they opened the air intake, flash the ecu again and now I get the 90hp promised. However the bike keeps overheating a lot and they dont know what the issue could be. In addition they changed the stock exhaust to an akrapovic during the first ecu flash. Do you have any idea where perhaps they fucked up? I have no idea why it overheats so much

Bought mine new in Melbourne. Took it straight to Dynobike and had the restrictions removed. It’s now done 45k unrestricted.

I'm guessing that this would void the warranty, so will the dealer be able to find out its derestricted when doing the classing oil change and service on not? Or is there a way to get around that?

considered driving without license since you don't have the right driving license for thos bike/power. At least 3 years no license and some other "fees". If caught in an accident.... well.... don't want to be in your skin. Your life's toast
